Maytag - 5.3 Cu. Ft. Pet Pro Top Load Impeller Washer with Extra Power and Sanitize Cycle with Oxi - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the new washer for about 8 weeks and I absolutely love it! The size is perfect for any extra large loads we may need and with two dogs the additional pet hair filter is amazing! I will say so far the only issue we have run into is the load being unbalanced more often than we noticed with our old washer, but overall not a huge issue to manually redistribute the load when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical as to whether an impeller washer would get my clothes as one with an agitator. I am pleased to say that my worries were for naught. My clothes get clean and the extra room in the tub works well, too. But the most impressive features are the Extra Power feature and the Pet Filter included into the impeller. Both are awesome and much appreciated since I have two small dogs at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wifi feature is very handy & works very well. Love I can add an extra cycle, like “drain & spin” if I’m not ready to take laundry out. The petpro feature works incredibly well & is very easy to clean out. It surprisingly collects a lot of lint & pet hair. It’s easy to to clean & put back on. It’s not loud, weighs the load before it starts the wash so appropriate amount of water is used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a week ago and so far it is fantastic! It runs quiet and cleans clothes thoroughly. Being able to control and monitor the machine on the app right from my phone is a great feature. I would definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer tub is roomy and Pet Hair removal feature works really well. The machine is a bit noisier than expected and I find that the start button is challenging to engage. Disappointed that Magtag didn't have the white washer with an agitator.

I've been using this washing machine lightly for two months. Suddenly on a quick wash cycle with a single not bulky, not large item, it literally shook itself to death. No product support on the weekend when it happened. I've never experienced anything like this with any other brand. This was my first Maytag purchase.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This is the worst washing machine I have ever owned. It leaves white residue on my clothes. I have had a tech out to look at it and have done everything suggested. I have to wash my loads two times and still have residue on them. I like to hang my laundry outside and can't do that because the residue is on them! I would NEVER suggest this washing machine to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans well however it will eat your clothes. They have gotten caught in the bottom of the tub and had to be pried out. Additionally, the controls have locked up numerous times and has had to be reset on the machine and/or unplugged to reset to get the machine running again.

The water sprayed everywhere and leaked through my ceiling. Several weeks late I am still trying to get the warranty to fix my machine and fix the damage. I am not happy with the machine or the service.

You would think a 5.3 cu ft washing machine could handle large loads but not only does it NOT but some clothes come out dry in areas. Doesn’t completely wet even when using deep fill. LOUD gear changes, struggles to spin 2 throw blankets. Contacted Maytag and they say normal operating 🤷🏼‍♀️
