[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the new washer for about 8 weeks and I absolutely love it! The size is perfect for any extra large loads we may need and with two dogs the additional pet hair filter is amazing! I will say so far the only issue we have run into is the load being unbalanced more often than we noticed with our old washer, but overall not a huge issue to manually redistribute the load when needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used it twice so far but from those two times I can tell you it's one of the best purchases I've ever made the pet Pro feature got an enormous amount of hair off the clothes that otherwise would have clogged the pump and lines. It's got a large capacity stainless drum, quiet operation, outstanding warranty, and many cycle choices. I doubt I'll ever use the app but still a nice ad on for the more tech needy crowd I guess.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer tub is roomy and Pet Hair removal feature works really well. The machine is a bit noisier than expected and I find that the start button is challenging to engage. Disappointed that Magtag didn't have the white washer with an agitator.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase due to failure of existing Maytag washer after 10 years. While I have no complaints about it failing at the end of the warranty period, it is interesting. The new one has a bigger basket, which I love, and the Pet Pro feature with hair filter works great. My only complaint is the start button. It doesn’t seem to like a touch or a press. Either the touch tech needs to be improved or just make it simple and use a press switch. Keeping your finger on the start button too long puts it into a reset Mode
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been washing clothes for over 50 years but I have never had a washer that has unbalanced loads as much as this one does. I like the washer but I don’t want to stand next to it and watch it so I can be there when It starts to shake.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Information screen is small and confusing to use. It doesn’t show the settings on one window. I have to leave the washer on towel settings to get it to fill enough to rinse the detergent even with deep fill on.
I've been using this washing machine lightly for two months. Suddenly on a quick wash cycle with a single not bulky, not large item, it literally shook itself to death. No product support on the weekend when it happened. I've never experienced anything like this with any other brand. This was my first Maytag purchase.
If I could leave zero stars I would. This is the worst washing machine I have ever owned. It leaves white residue on my clothes. I have had a tech out to look at it and have done everything suggested. I have to wash my loads two times and still have residue on them. I like to hang my laundry outside and can't do that because the residue is on them! I would NEVER suggest this washing machine to anyone.
I had to replace my 5-year old Maytag with a new one and I absolutely hate it! The mandatory cleaning cycle appears at the worst possible time! I just spent an extra 15 minutes trying to stop this stupid cleaning cycle when I was needing to wash some delicate items - with no time to spare! If I could buy an unused Maytag like the one I had, I would do it in a New York minute! From the first, I could tell that the quality of this one was not as good as my old one, and this mandatory cleaning cycle makes it a nightmare!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchases in late November, did not receive until January (while other issue with Lowe’s). Washer is already having significant issues and had tech out, already needs new computer, have only done about 6 loads total. TERRIBLE product. Wish I would have stayed with my old washer and dryer, never had issues. Screen will start and act like it will allow me to make choices for my cycle and then restarts. And repeat this over and over and over and it never actually runs a load.
