Maytag Med4500m 29" Wide 7 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer - White

our old Maytag washer was 25 years old and was now leaking and making a lot of noise after fine performance and no repairs. We decided to buy another Maytag based entirely on our past experience with the old one. We had some hesitation because of rumors that the new machines of any brand are not as durable. I guess as octogenarians we don't have to get 25 years out of this one but if it dies before we do I expect our kids raise cane with whoever own the brand. Seriously, a trusted rand should maintain quality. We are counting on you to keep your reputation intact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is even better than I expected! It dries the clothes quickly and wrinkle free! The Maytag dryer I had previously was purchased in 2005 and worked perfectly until 2025. So of course, I bought another Maytag!

They are quiet. You wouldn’t even know that they are on which is what I love about these machines, I looked at the reviews before I bought them and the reviews were very good compared to other brands. This is why I chose them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 15 year old dryer with the Maytag Top Load Electric Wrinkle Prevent Dryer. I've only had it a month but so far so good! I actually look forward to laundry. The dryer works well and dries clothes so much faster than the old machine. It's not a fancy machine but it does the job. I've never had a dryer with a light inside - this is my first! I give this one a thumbs up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a washer and dryer several months ago. I am not happy with the washer. the dryer appears to be alright at this time. I am at the point that I will request a service person to come out to check the washer.

this dryer arrived later then we first were told and when it arrived it was extremely dirty, and banged up, the door barely fits because of a large dent in the front and although it works it is extremely loud, possibly because of the dents. This dryer also does NOT HAVE A POWER CORD INCLUDED.

I Sent it back .. no electric cord sent box was opened paper’s missing door was hard to open and close

The product does not come with a power cord. In fact, there are armrest 5 other parts that has to be purchased.

This dryer has been an absolute nightmare for us. We have only had it for two years and have had to replace the heating element 4 times and recently replaced the timing switch. The dryer worked for 3 loads of laundry after the timing switch was replaced and stopped working again.
