[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family volunteers with As Good As Gold - Golden Retriever Rescue of Illinois, so you can imagine the wear and tear we have to put on our washer and dryer to keep our towels, rugs and bedding fresh and clean for our foster dogs (22 so far). There was no doubt in my mind when it finally came time to purchase a new laundry set It would be another Maytag washer and dryer pair. Also, I love the upgrades, especially the new dial and buttons that replaced the touch screen. I am very happy with my new Maytag washer and dryer!

Local repair shop will not repair LG and Samsung. This shop is very reputable and if needed I wouldn't have anyone else. I am very happy with my purchase and buying a set for my daughter for Christmas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been very happy with the dryer so far. Great look and has operated well. I do wish it had an interior light. I also purchased the matching washing machine. Also nice looking appliance. In terms of functionality - I prefer using the detergent pods but have found due to the conservative water the unit uses, the pods don't always fully breakdown leaving marks on the clothing. I have had to run the loads a second time. This has resulted in changing to liquid detergent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my new dryer for a couple of weeks now. It runs quietly and appears well built. It was a replacement for my 25+ year old electric Maytag Dryer I have a dryer in my 2nd home that has the same type of programming, ie. Dryness Level and Type of Load, I just don't understand the need. I am unsure why I would ever want my clothes "Less Dry", is drying them not the purpose of the machine? With my most current load of towels, I selected Towels, and More Dry; after the cycle the two heaviest towels were still damp. Had I not been here to remove them, they would have sat damp in the dryer. Again, I have the same issue with my other dryer, so perhaps it's just an "upgrade" in dryer technology? Why doesn't dry, or in my case more dry, mean completely dry? The only other thing I feel the need to comment about is the sounds the panel makes, they are VERY quiet. I have the volume all the way up and when I turn the dryer on, before it's running, the sounds are barely audible, same with the chime that sounds to alert me the load is finished.

Owned for 1.5 years and sensors for dryness failing so shuts off before dry, buttons to turn on are also failing
