[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dryer works good. Lots of options. Have to turn the light off every time you run the dryer. Don't understand why the light is on while tumbling. Would rather have a swing open door than a pull down to open door. Those are little grips though. Would buy Maytag again.

So disappointed in this dryer. I purchased this a year ago this past Christmas. Although it does dry the clothes, it's making a horrible rattling sound had various times in the drying process. It took us a while to have a repair man come because of our busy work schedules. Had to wait for a relative to come and visit before we could schedule a repair man. Found a highly rated reliable local repair man. After arriving and taking the dryer apart, he couldn't detect any reason why it's making the noise. It gets so loud and it's right by the children's rooms that interferes with their nap and sleep time. I thought Maytag was a great brand but now I don't have that same opinion. Such a shame essentially a brand new dryer that sounds like an airplane taking off. The sound is so loud that I'm afraid it's going to die completely or who knows even catch fire.

Terrible dryer. Only had 6 months and it won't turn on. Took over a week to get a repair person to look at it and basically it needs all the internal components changed. It would be cheaper and easier if they gave us a new dryer but was told they don't replace appliances. They have to repair. Even though it's brand new! Instead we have to wait for parts and I'll have to take a day off work while it's getting fixed.
