MAYTAG MER4800PZ freestanding smoothtop electric range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our Maytag Range on 12-23-26, and they were delivered on 12-29-26. However, the range was not installed properly. This has since been corrected. We love our range and I’m learning how to clean the glass top with the recommended supplies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Range top is nicely laid out, heats evenly and is easy to clean. I'm still getting use to the oven, temperature is accurate but bakes a little slower than my old oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The preheat on most of the burners is very slow except for the one with the dual circles. That one goes so fast you have to watch it if you have anything in the pan. I wish the others were stronger and that one was weaker...I also don't like the fact that you have to turn the oven light on and off manually. It should be set to go on when you open the door. Otherwise it's a basic oven. Nothing exceptional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took us a long time to figure out the temperature of the oven setting is not correct It is off by 25 degrees . according to the temperature gauge we bought to set on oven rack. One we figured that out we adjust not out meals come out great. That was the problem from the get go and it took us this long to figure it out. Now its to late warrant is up we did not buy extended,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Maytag Range, I stayed with Maytag because my other appliances were Maytag. I really wanted GE because I found the glass top on the Maytag scratches easily. I have a GE at my vacation home and it is much easier to clean and no scratches. I think the GE is ad better grade of glass. It has gray speckles and it doesn't smear like the Maytag, Maytag is too black
