Maytag - 7.0 Cu. Ft. Gas Dryer with Wrinkle Prevent - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased the quality Maytag gas dryer which I needed in the nick of time. My old Kenmore gas dryer had a gas leak & I was ready to get rid of it. It matches my Maytag washer which I bought three years ago. Easy to use, looks good, and I'm able to fit in plenty of clothes that dry completely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our existing Maytag dryer with this one . It was still operating great after 20 years but the matching washer finally gave up. As we were getting a new washer anyway we decided to get the matching dryer as well. We donated the old dryer to a deserving woman we know and she is thrilled with it. You can’t go wrong with Maytag quality and endurance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this last month. Like the large capacity. Dries well. Read reviews about the lint trap. Agree it is messy but not a deal breaker. Should be moved from on top of the machine in future models.

The ability to dry a comforter and that the dryer had simple dial controls made my wife and my choice easy. We were looking for a dryer that could handle a comforter or blanket. Simple to operate nothing super high tech.

Since all my appliances are Maytag I went with another one. This time with no mother board! All my maytags last. My fridge lasted 25 years and the sales people couldn’t believe it! Love my Maytag!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After replacing our slowly failing dryer, we bought a Maytag from a local appliance dealer. I like the dryer so far. One suggestion I would make is to make the top flat so detergent, etc can go there and be handy. Another suggestion is that the lint screen seems a little wonky, as though it's not going to last as long as the dryer. Have your engineer(s) make it a little shorter. It's long and we only get lint at the very bottom. We clean it after each dryer use. i would recommend this one. Thanks.

Works very well - down side is that the dryer still has a strong odor; I am hopeful that will dissipate over time. Why do you call this dryer a Top Load Gas Wrinkle Prevent Dryer when it is built with a front load "door"?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to dry clothes very efficiently . Easy to use, easy to clean lint trap. I only deducted a star because it’s not totally flat on top so detergent or products shake off the top of the dryer and fall when it’s running. Not a big deal , but lost a bit of shelf space. This is my third Maytag, pretty durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this almost a month. I do not like it at all because it’s very noisy. The motor rumbles and makes a loud noise. if there is anything like Sox or folded clothes on top they end up on the floor in just a few minutes. It must vibrate. It also takes at least 60 minutes or more to dry stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer to replace a Neptune dryer. Looked great, installed it and attempted to run, dryer ran but would not heat. Bled gas line checked to make sure gas flow, still no heat. Opened up the top to look, found one of the leads on the upper sensor was NOT connected. Connected the wire and closed the dryer, it performed correctly. Maytag Quality Control lost this one.
