[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new washer. I've had a Maytag in the past but it wasn't working correctly. The only problem I had was I had to wait a couple weeks to get it in white. Its nice and quiet and works every time I turn it on.

This one has a balancing mechanism that makes the spin cycle smooth as silk. The second feature that makes life nicer is the optimum detergent dispenser. I fill the cup one time for several loads and it gives the right amount of detergent to each wash. It sure beats measuring and pouring detergent for every load. One thing that puzzles me is the lack of volume on the cycle signal. It's barely audible at the highest setting.

The quietness in operation, energy efficiency, this machine does it all. And like I've said it has not been 30 days yet that I've had this machine. Get one before they're all gone...!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not had it very long. It is louder than my past Maytag. Also it’s very hard to do a small load. It goes off balance!!! I just wanted a simple washer, so hard to find without bells and whistles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The owners manual is not clear on how and what to do and when. in particular, the bell to let us know the wash cycle is finished.. A clearer understanding of the settings and when to use them would help.

The automatic soap dispenser will over suds the machine if you stop a load and then restart from the beginning. The push button to start the machine needs to be held for a three second count down before starting. The machine does the washing and spinning portions well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a Maytag and hope it works out. Have experienced a few glitches in the three weeks I have owned it. The chime to tell you it is finished is basically non- existent even if you are in the same room. The LOC seems to lock the machine without provocation and takes many tries before you can unlock the machine. Waiting for the321 countdown is pointless in my option. You should just push start and it should start.Finally, if you even move to close to the spin button the spin turns off and you are left with a soggy mess. Hopefully things will get better with time and experience but not for the faint of heart.

Because of the cost of the board plus installation, I decided to buy a new Maytag washer and dryer set. I only had the new set for 6 weeks when the computer board on the washer went out--had no power. It was very disappointing!

Also the detergent dispenser drawer does not close flush to the washer and again, the repair person says he cannot fix it. I am very disappointed with a brand name that should be top-of-the line.
