[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I must say that the appliance repair person stated that side-by-side Maytag refrigerators are the least frequently malfunctioning refrigerators in her 30+ years of experience. She rarely receives a call to repair a Maytag. Ergo, my choice. She also pointed out that the more complex an appliance is, the more likelihood that something with malfunction; so, I chose a simpler design than my refrigerator that died. I like the size of this new refrigerator, and I am hoping the 10-year warranty means it will last longer than the top-of-the line but problem-ridden/multiple-class-action-lawsuits LG it is replacing, but I was expecting a better quality interior, specifically the shelves and drawers. The shelves are completely non-adjustable, and the drawers are cheap plastic. The top four shelves are illuminated by only one light, which is located in the top right corner, leaving the lower shelves quite dark since the second shelf is metal. This is the first "sight-unseen" refrigerator that I have purchased, and I knew I was choosing a less expensive appliance (it is replacing a french door/bottom drawer freezer model), but I wish I would have examined the pictures and description details more carefully. However, I am willing to accept the tradeoff if this refrigerator lasts for more years than the last two (both from LG, both less that 10 years). Bottom line--I will only know how satisfied I really am after many years of functional refrigeration.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing I have a problem with is the water and ice. The way it is positioned when you want ice it’s too easy to hit the water that set up needs to be different. You have to have a certain size cup, which a small glass works better. I don’t use small glasses when I get a glass of ice water. And my husband does not like the fact to change the filter it’s at the bottom of the refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this refrigerator for about three weeks and it is fine, nothing fancy but that is one of the things I like about it. My only complaint is that the corner looks like it was repaired with foaming Gorilla Glue before it was wrapped up. That wasn't very cool. I will try to attach a photo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The metal panel in the backside of the freezer is not properly secured. The screw secures it does not fasten properly (see photos). The pizza shelf does not fit properly. i have tried a dozen different ways to make it level, but it just is not made correctly to fit in this space with a level shelf. (see photo).

The ice maker does not work we live it Texas so we need it a lot. Would not have purchased had we known. Repairmen can not fix it. Purchased in 2023. Started having problems months ago. I see many complaints about the icemaker. Its a design defect. Therefore I would like it replaced free of charge.

I bought this fridge last March so I've had it for a year. I have had service on the freezer 3 times already and am ready to call for the 4th time. The ice dispenser keeps getting built up frost underneath which makes everything inside have frost on it. The flap to close the ice dispenser does not close all the way and every part has been replaced so not sure what they can do but it is not acceptable. The fridge side has 3 drawers and they all stick to where there are plastic shavings being made and the middle drawer goes in crooked so eventually it is going to break. The motor is very loud and does not sound like it is running properly. I have always bought Maytag. I have a Maytag stove that is 25 years old, never had a days trouble with it. I have a Maytag fridge in my basement that is 30 years old (no ice dispenser) so I was a true believer in their products but now....not so sure
