Maytag MVW6230HW 4.7 Cu. Ft. White Top Load Smart Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer with my new house. I love it . This is by far the best one ive ever owned. I love the cleaning cycle. I love the notices and texts I get when the clothes are done. I would recommend this machine to any one in the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very finicky washer, that is very slow to wash clothes, and very hard to get past the learning curve. However it does a good job washing clothes, and once you learn it's tricks and nuances, seems to do a very good job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's better than some that I tried, but still not as good as the non-electronics washer very slow filling the water Spins the clothes into knots. I had a Kenmore that I left in my old house. It was at least 20 years old and was still working perfect. I have regretted leaving it.

I am extremely disappointed with this Maytag washer. I purchased it in July 2021 expecting a reliable, long-lasting appliance, but less than five years later it's already failing. It recently started making a loud, grinding noise during the agitation cycle—something you absolutely should not hear from a machine that isn't even that old. For a brand that markets itself on durability and quality, this is unacceptable. A washer is a major household investment, and it should last far longer than a few years without major issues. Instead, I'm now dealing with what sounds like a serious mechanical failure and the inconvenience and cost that comes with it. I expected much better from Maytag. If you're considering this washer, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere—this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed in this machine as I don't feel as if it is getting clothes clean. I never overload as there are only 2 of us and I do laundry daily so never have large loads. Not sure machine is getting enough water, have done all the suggestions the manual instructed on this issue, but still not doing a good job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Maytag and am so disappointed. The glass top is just fir looks. You can't see in once the machine starts. Worst of all is that it's noisy! Our home is one level. The laundry room is off the kitchen. It is not a quiet machine

I've had this machine for over a year. It's loud, and does not seem to balance heavier loads very well. It also begins to agitate before it's filled with water. Basically agitating the clothes before there is enough water to wash them. Your cant' use the WIFI unless you have a slow speed, 2.5G. Also, the cycles are very long compared to my last washer. I would not buy this again and not sure I'd buy a Maytag.

I thought I would like this machine as much as my Sears Kenmore But I hate it. Think twice before buying this machine.

I had this washer for 5 years and had it worked on 3 different times and after warranty is up it quits no fixing it! I always thought and bragged that Maytag was the best not anymore!! Yall need to step it up and get back to a better product like you had several years ago!!! Now you are like the rest except a bigger price!!

I have had to get this machine serviced 3 times in the last 5 years. For such an expensive machine this is not ok. Now, I am being told the motherboard is dead, exactly 5 years after purchase. Not sure where to go from here. I had high hopes and am so disappointed.
