MAYTAG MVW7230HW high efficiency top load washer

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We are very pleased with our washer and dryer since purchasing it. It is very efficient, mostly quiet and washes our clothes very well. I love the sensor feature on dryer which senses that the clothes are dry and turns itself off!!!

My old washer would go off balance with even the smallest bedding or towel load. The variety of settings are very helpful to get the best results. I love the reminder to use the Clean Washer cycle with Affresh

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really like the machine,except I'm having a hard time getting enough water in it. It's a big machine, but no matter what I do it only fills about a third full. If I have a blanket in it half of it doesn't even get wet.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've had this washer for a month now, compared to my prior washer this one is AMAZING! I'm very happy with my purchase. Clothes are clean after washing, wash cycles don't take forever and the washer is user friendly. I wasn't sure if I would be able to fit my king duvet or my area rugs in this washer since it has an agitator but I have had no problem with washing either. The only thing I do find is the washer is louder than I expected it to be but it's a minor detail in the scheme of things!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We purchased this very expensive washer about six weeks ago. We are not impressed. It's no where near the quality of our previous Maytag Bravo XL that lasted 15 yrs. It is extremely noisy, seems like every day there is a new rattle or clunk. We had repairman out this week to check it out and said all these noises are completely normal as the machine breaks in it will get worse. There is no seal on the lid. Not worth the money

Every cycle except for Bulky, starts by not putting enough water in the drum and proceeds to activate the agitator and wash plate against my still dry laundry. I fear this is going to rip out clothing. Even using the deep water button EVERY load, the machine still initially does not add enough water and proceeds to slam around dry clothes against the agitator and wash plate. Eventually it adds more but only when deep water button was selected. Also with no owners manual it is difficult to understand this machine. I did NOT want a wifi machine. All I wanted was a regular agitator with Extra clean, a faucet feature and a large drum to wash a king comforter. It's also noisy.
