Maytag MVW7232HC Smart Capable Top Load Washer With Extra Power Button

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this washer after reading about numerous top loading products. I strongly felt after reading about other products this was the best for me. I enjoy the various functions this has and it has been a pleasure to use. I am extremely happy with this choice.

Staying in a short term rental while waiting for our house to be built and using a new Maytag top load washer Mod. #MVW7232HW0. What a piece of crap! Doesn't put enough water in the tub to even wet all of the clothes and then starts agitating while the top of the clothes are still dry! Tried setting the water level from auto fill to medium level and still didn't add enough water to wet all of the clothes. Then when it went to the rinse cycle, filled the tub so high that when the agitator started the clothes never moved during the entire rinse cycle then it drained and stopped. This machine wastes more time just sitting and doing nothing during the wash cycle, took 15 minutes just to fill with water. The logic that has been designed in to this machine is just stupid!

I have never hated an appliance as much as I hate this one. I am better off washing my clothes in a creek. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP IT DOES NOT CLEAN YOUR CLOTHES. I am having to wash less than half a load on the HEAVY DUTY cycle two or three times.

Hate this machine. Constantly goes off balance. Plastic gears had to be replaced in only 3 years because it wouldn't spin the cloths. Don't waste your money. I wish I could return it!!

Bought this last December 2024. It's the worst Maytag washer I've ever had . It agitates before there is hardly any water. The extra power feature when you use it your clothes look mangled and wearing on clothes so I just turn off the machine. I'm so tired of having to hang out by this washer to see if there's enough water in it. I should have said something sooner, it is so noisy and loud. This has an impeller, my daughter has a top load by another Brand I used hers and it worked like a washing machine should. So that's why I bought a Maytag, I've had their top loaders and front loaders the past. If Anyone reading this has the same issues with this top loader if you have any anxiety this will give you more. I've done a lot of searching on this top load on YouTube model no. MVW7232"HW2 An appliance man was showing 4 sheets being washed using the Extra Power, the sheets were hardly moving and they never washed properly. I have never given a review before, I'm now because I was sent warranty paper to pay so much a month because my warranty expires 12/18/25. I feel like this washer is already broken!

Omg omg omg.... Washed some shoes and at the end of wash.. I used my fingers to clean the white spot better. Even with bleach this washer is garbage. Taken it to the landfill tomorrow.. bet that...

Worst machine i have ever owned every year it has broke down constant issues after the 1st year almost all parts were replaced and here we are on year 3 with the 3rd or 4th brake down

I despise this washing machine. It can't even get one spot of toothpaste off a child's shirt . I load it exactly as directed, I do not overfill, and I still have clothes coming out of the washing cycle that are still soiled. I have to use the max fill on the water or sometimes the clothes have literal dry spots on them. I thought purchasing a Maytag was a safe bet, but it is horrible.

Worst washer ever. Never properly fills. Doesn't clean well. Clothes on top don't even get wet. Constant error codes. Quit working completely yesterday. Only two years old. Serious piece of crap.
