Mazuri Chinchilla Diet, Nutritionally Complete Chinchilla Food, 25 lbs

I have used this food with my store purchased chinchilla. She lived to be 21. I partially credited this food as the reason why. Would never switch to anything different.

Not only do my chins love this food but it's packed with all the nutrients they wit keep them healthy!

This is the only brand my chin will eat. Everything else get tossed out of the dish. He's been that picky since day one.

Unlike most chinchilla feeds, Mazuri does not package its pellets with nuts/seeds/corn/dried fruits/peas/misc, all of which are terribly unhealthy for chinchillas and can cause bloating- a potentially fatal condition. Mazuri is no-nonsense, just pellets. And a high quality pellet, no less. I also am very happy that I can order directly from Mazuri- no driving all over town trying to find a retailer or worrying they have old stock or not the right sized bag. I can just go to Mazuri, get exactly the feed I need in the quantity I need, and have it sent right to my front door.

This is perfect and well-balanced nutrition for chinchillas. I've been feeding this for 13 years and am 100% delighted. I buy 25 pound bags and write the purchased history on each bag as it is used. The bags are kept in either a plastic tub or in the freezer to keep it free of bugs.

The reason I bought directly from the company is that I know I can find first of all and it's fresh from the company. I don't have to worry how long it's been on a shelf. My Chin loves this food and does very well on it. I know he is getting the best food with added probiotics for intestinal health,he has flourished since he was given to us. It's the only food he will get!
