Mazuri Small Bird Food, 2.5 lbs.

Good product, my medium size parrots and hook bills love it. Very little mess and no waste compared to seed and others. The birds love it!

Along with other Mazuri products, I set out Mazuri Small Bird Maintenance for the balance of what tropical birds need. They seem to miss in the cage what Mazuri packs into the pellets. I recommend them with full assurance for Mockingbirds, Tanagers, and Blackbirds. Birds in captivity can not live on fresh fruit alone. Even the troublesome Golden bellied Grosbeak relishes the Mazuri pellet food and has come into full plumage.

I have made Mazuri Same Bird Maintenance the foundation for my Budgies' diet. Budgies are know seed only consumers, so getting them to switch over was a challenge. All it takes is getting one to try it, then the whole flock is convinced!

I use this to start my baby birds on pellets. No artificial coloring, softer than other pellets and great ingredients. My older birds enjoy this too.

The pellets are various sizes, so each bird finds something they like in their bowl.

I've tried other foods with my conure and she only picked at them and didn't eat much. When I gave her some of your food she immediately wanted it. She started happily forging through the food and eating it. She eats really good now and is always happy come feeding time.

My parakeets tend to be picky eaters, but they enjoyed this food and took to it right away. I would reccomend it to others who have small birds that are picky. The size of the pellets was good too. Not too big so my very small keets could easily munch on this.

My macaws wouldn't touch it.....in fact they got mad and started pushing it out of their bowls>>>>>
