McAfee® Total Protection, Antivirus Security Software, 5 Devices, 1 Year Subscription – Product Key

Easy to install! Good product! Good price! I am old enough to remember when you bought a software license and the software and it was yours for life. Not so anymore. Perhaps we need to figure out how we can stand together and get it back to the old way! Anyway, this is a good product and a good price.

McAfee Total Protection for 5 Devices works beautifully and I expect it will save me hundreds of dollars over the next year. Installation was quick, 15 minutes or so, and easy. I simply clicked on the McAfee link in my email receipt, copied and pasted the tracking number/activation code and downloaded the product. I installed McAfee Total Protection for 5 Devices on a new Windows 10 laptop, a 64 bit Windows 7 desktop that was upgraded to Windows 10 and my iPhone 6. All of the installations went flawlessly. I also tried to install it on an older 32 bit Windows 7 desktop but that failed. No damages though and I simply uninstalled McAfee Total Protection on that computer. All of my McAfee computers are accessible via my online McAfee account. The antivirus portion of the software protects me against ransomware, malware and spyware. I have much greater peace of mind when I am online now. McAfee Total Protection for 5 Devices works in the background and actually speeds up commonly used programs by 10 to 20%. It also automatically checks for outdated programs and applications and then updates them in the background. One less worry and task for me. McAfee Total Protection for 5 Devices offers Virtual Private Network (VPN) which I expect will save me lots of $ over the next year. VPN provides bank grade encryption so using public WiFi is as, or more secure, than home WiFi. VPN also allows me to access foreign websites like UsTvGo.tv which offers over 75 cable TV channels like CNN, Fox News, CMT, etc for free. McAfee Total Protection for 5 Devices is a wonderful product and works very well for me. It is subscription based and the yearly renewal fee is generally more than the heavily discounted purchase price. The renewal fee is usually the same as the full purchase price.

I have had McAfee for sometime now renewing my subscription each and every year. This one continues to offer me protection with a little help from a firm in Miami that installed a firewall.

In the world today we spend so much time online it is nice to know someone is watching out for me. I am a millennial so I am fairly tech savvy. I know enough to know how dangerous the internet can be. If you don't want to spend your life learning the latest way people are sterling your information/identity you definitely need McAfee! Total protection includes everything the average person needs for internet security. I haven't had the chance to use all the included services yet. But the ones I have used are great! It has a bit of a learning curve if you aren't familiar with all the services. But it is well worth it.

Very Good Antivirus

You get a year of protection. The protection is minimal. The most you'll get alerted to is McAfee trying to sell you more of their products. You'll get a pop-up to run a scan. Once the scan is done, the results will show you should buy more of their products for better protection. The free protection I received from having my taxes done caught my info on the dark web 2 months before McAfee found it.

Un able to install code on the product was not working? Spent a few hours on the phone to get it to work! Very frustrating. But it works so there's that.
