McCormick Brown Butter Finishing Salt, 4.12 oz Bottle

Thank you McCormick for letting me try this product for free. So, I tried this on several things, my favorite is definitely on top of vanilla ice cream with caramel syrup! I can't wait to try it on more things. Next, I think I will make homemade soft pretzels and top them with this!

Thank you McCormick for sharing you Brown Butter Finishing Salt to try and let you know my results. First! A no brainer on popcorn. Yum! Just a little butter to help the salt stick and it took me straight to the fair with a kettle corn vibe. I also replaced the table salt in my favorite oatmeal cookie recipe. So good, my husband ate 3 before the second pan was out of the oven. I can't wait to try it on caramels. It is sweet so I will only Sub out table salt on sweet goodies. Excellent!

McCormick's Brown Butter Finishing Salt was sent to me for free, and here's what I honestly think after using it. First of all, the smell of it is heavenly! I sprinkled some on the chocolate chip cookies I made and it was delicious! It wasn't too salty or sweet and it added a richness in taste to them. I'm impressed, McCormick did their thing with this one! I think I'll try it on cinnamon rolls next!

I've never used a flavored finishing salt before, just regular ole salt. But this was a fun new addition to my spice cabinet! It gives a really nice, deep flavor to whatever you put it on. Brown butter has a slightly nutty flavor profile, and you can really taste that in the salt. You also don't need a ton of it, since you've presumably already seasoned the dish with salt as you cooked it. So that means this should last for a good long while. I have loved it on everything I've put it on so far!

Life tastes better with McCormick® Brown Butter Finishing Salt... I recently tried McCormick® Brown Butter Finishing Salt + honestly didn't know what to expect. I loved it! I first tried it on my sweet potato. It gave it the perfect salty + sweet combo that I love for my sweet potatoes. I am excited to try it with my hot cocoa when it gets a little chillier + my chocolate covered pretzels.

​I recently tried the McCormick Finishing Brown Butter Salt on a variety of treats, and it is a fantastic addition to the pantry if you love that deep, toasted aroma. The brown butter flavor is truly the star here. It's rich, nutty, and authentic. It adds a sophisticated "bakery-style" depth to everything it touches. However, a word of caution: the saltiness is quite high. It is definitely a "finishing" salt, so a very light sprinkle goes a long way. If you're heavy-handed, the salt can quickly overpower the butter notes. ​I experimented with this in a few different ways, and the results were impressive. Desserts: It works beautifully on warm chocolate chip cookies and salted caramel tarts. ​Milk Tea: Surprisingly, this is incredible when whisked into milk caps (cheese foam) for milk tea. It creates a savory-sweet balance that tastes like a high-end cafe drink. This is a delicious, versatile seasoning. Just be mindful of the sodium levels and start with a tiny bit. You can always add more, but you can't take it away!

Better with sweet items! I tried it both with sweet and savory food items and personally would recommend having it with sweet items as there's more sugar than salt ratio! I like it on my oatmeal, waffles, Greek yogurt fruit bowl, etc. The hint of salt enhances the flavor!

I tried this after getting it on some frozen yogurt and it was a great addition that really brought out the flavor of it while adding some sweetness. I loved the saltiness of it while not being too sweet. One word of caution, go easy on how much you use as it can be overpowering.

Made to seem like a discounted 6 pack. It's not. It's a solo item. I figured by the price. But, just advertise without the gimmicks. It tastes ok. Not super impressed. I have only put it on popcorn so far. More salt than anything. AVOID if you have high blood pressure or are prone to swelling.
