I was so excited to use the McCormick Vanilla Clear Flavor for my dessert recipes. For my first dessert, I used the McCormick Vanilla Clear Flavor for my grandma's famous flan recipe, and it turned out delicious!!! Compared to other products I have tried in the past, this is by far the best vanilla-flavored one I have used. I'm looking forward to continue using it for my other dessert recipes.

Ive been using McCormick Vanilla flavoring for my whole life and when making cakes, puddings, and cookies. The flavor is wonderfully strong with only a few drops needed, and rounds out most desserts without tasting artificial, though it is indeed. This is my trusted choice everytime, and since it last pretty much forever on the shelf, its packed full of value. I simply cant believe its not straight up vanilla beans, at a fraction of the cost.

Over the years I have used a variety of vanilla extract products. I have used plenty of store brands all the way to fancy Madagascar vanilla bean. I use vanilla when I'm baking, in a lot of batter, etc. The first meal I substituted McCormick's Clear Vanilla in was my *famous* French toast. I'm not sure what made the difference in flavor, but the taste was night and day. My entire family asked why breakfast was so good. The second thing I made was chocolate chip cookies. I felt like I could tell the flavor change was subtle. However that could have been because I made the cookies. My kids were happy to eat cookies LOL. This morning I added some to my protein pancake powder mix and it made a HUGE difference. The brand we use can sometimes make the pancakes taste a bit bland, so anything that I can add to help give them that homemade flavor is a win in my book. I have never paid much attention to clear vs regular vanilla until now. While I am not sure if the coloring is a big factor, I know that McCormick Clear Vanilla will be a staple in my pantry going forward!

This is really good vanilla. I was a little weary with it being clear and with it potentially having a noticeable artificial flavor. That was not the case when I tried it. The vanilla smell and flavor is very much present in a good way and created a great cookie! I am beyond happy with McCormick Clear Vanilla Flavoring. I love baking and I love the taste of vanilla so this is perfect for what I enjoy baking. I also love that it is colorless so I can easily add it into a white cake or even a yellow cake if I want to give it a nice taste of vanilla without tinging the color of the batter. I also used it in cookies when I made chocolate chip cookies and it added a wonderful little splash of vanilla into the cookies and was so good!
