McCormick Gourmet Collection Poppy Seed Whole 2.12 oz

I use poppy seeds on a pretty regular basis. I have only been able to find them in a 1 oz. container at every store I buy them from. I love having the option of a bigger container. I make ham/cheese sliders and use these in a sauce that is poured over the top. Thanks McCormick!!

A must have for breads, cookies, cakes and/or muffins. I love to eat poppy seeds on my coleslaw. my favorite sald dressing is poppyseed and so easy to make. I tried on some pasta noodles-great. next i will add to tuna noodles. I read that poppy seeds have antioxidant properties-so a major plus. research states may help lower cholesterol, adds fiber, with numerous other health benefits. no wonder i love poppy seeds. will find more ways to add to foods i make. Mccormick is a staple in my cupboard. I have never had a bad product from them. I definitely recommend everyone use this product.

I've never thought of buying them before, nor remember seeing them, so when I found them I had to try them. I've had bread and rolls with poppy seeds, even bagels and since I make bread and just started with bagels, I thought I'd give them a try. These are wonderful! Great flavor and add the nice crunch to my baking. I may even try them on salads. McCormick has always had great quality herbs and spices, so I know they're the best.

I would highly recommend the McCormick Gourmet Herbs Poppy Seed. I used it in an almond pound cake and it was wonderful. They were fresh and flavorful. I love the fact that it comes in a glass jar. seems to keep them even fresher. Will definitely buy.

I have had these before on buns from a local restaurant. But they quit selling them. Now, I can add them to my food and enjoy the great taste as often as I like from home. Thank you for a delicious product in a convenient package.

These are great to dress up plain muffins, especially lemon or almond muffins. These are very nice uniform poppy seeds. I'm planning on trying these in other dishes.

Another reliable item from McCormick spices! You may think of poppy seeds as solely a bagel topping, but they can be added to chicken or lamb dishes, salads, jams, and pastry or breads. It's a great filling for baklava, or biscuits! The ~2.12 ounce jar could be too big if you only need some seeds for garnish; though it is a good size if you are using a lot for a recipe, especially pastry filling or cake. While the jar is not air-tight, it should keep the seeds fresh for quite awhile, if stored in a cool and dry place. I would recommend this item to anyone shopping for quality poppy seeds!
