Way better than the standard
I mainly make meals at home using meals shipped to ones home (hello fresh, home chef, blue apron, etc.) and used this instead of standard black pepper. I did so since I ran out of the standard pepper and I got to say after using this 7 spice one there is no going back to the standard one.

Spice is Nice
Tasty stuff. Definitely a different blend than I have been used to when using a pepper mix. We like it, but it does have a bite. Not a Carolina Reaper bite, but not mild either.

Spicy
The McCormick gourmet Japanese 7 spice seasoning is spicy and tasty. I used it on chicken so far and will try fish next. Its a little pricey for me but worth the buy. I love McCormick brand seasoning and it is a staple brand in my home.

This is a must have for hibachi cooking
I couldn't make my at home hibachi cooking taste as good as the restaurants until I started using this spice plus sake. Now its spot on!

Tasty Spicey
Love this spice, I like it on any vegetable...especially when I do them on the smoker grill with a little olive oil. Is good on edamame too!

The bomb!!
I can not get enough of this stuff. It is perfect in rice, on chicken, over fries. Just the right amount of heat, not too salty or bitter.

HOT!
Very, very, very, very hot. I'd had spicy Japanese foods prepared by Japanese cooks, but nothing that approached this. This will be more than a lifetime's supply.
