I received the McCormick Gourmet Collection Cilantro in exchange for my honest review. I was excited to receive this product because cilantro is one of the few herbs I do not grow myself during the summer and find that the grocery store portions for fresh cilantro are always way more than I need. For a dried herb, I thought the McCormick Gourmet Collection Cilantro is a great substitute to keep in the cabinet. It has a bright green color and I thought the flavor was substantial and carried a lot of the bright notes of fresh cilantro. I've used it to mix into rice and sprinkle on top of burritos. Overall a great dried herb!

I was gifted this by McCormick in exchange for my honest review. I cook for two, so I struggle with keeping cilantro on hand. I always have more than half a bundle of fresh cilantro go bad before I can use it. I found out that dried cilantro is a great option. I tried this with pico de gallo and to also brighten up some rice along with a squeeze of lime. Both applications worked well. My husband and I can also add additional to taste. McCormick also updated their gourmet herb bottles. The bottles are glass with metallic lids. It looks great with my other dried herbs.

I have really enjoyed trying the Gourmet Cilantro and adding it to a variety of dishes for flavor enhancement and additional deliciousness. So far, I have added the cilantro in soup, stew and pasta sauce and enjoyed the depth it adds to the dishes. I love McCormick seasonings. And this product did not disappoint. We love Cilantro. The taste just elevates your meals! I added this to my taco meat along with the regular taco seasoning and it tasted amazing! I also added it to the rice for a great flavor.

I tried this in my homemade salsa. It has a crisp flavor but just isn't quite as potent as fresh cilantro. I will probably use in recipes but continue to use the fresh for garnishing or on tacos. Also love that this looks a bit elevated in a glass jar.

When I received dried cilantro to try it made me need to look for recipes, since I've never used it before. It's quite difficult to find recipes for it, since most call for fresh cilantro if any. This is a much more efficient way for me to keep cilantro, since I don't often use the fresh. We ended up adding a bit to spaghetti which gave it a nice little bit "extra." As I have recently been diagnosed with a food allergy to beef and its byproducts, looking for recipes to use dried cilantro in has really helped with this. There are a lot for dishes including shrimp and chicken.
