McCormick Gourmet Organic Garlic Powder, 2.25 oz Bottle

I had the opportunity to try the McCormick Gourmet Organic Garlic Powder (2.25oz) and was not disappointed. The flavor is robust and helps balance my meals. So far, no caking in the bottle which tends to be an issue for seasonings in my home (humid climate!). The bottle was attractive too, and I appreciate it is glass as well. I look forward to using it up!

Loved the glass bottle, I think glass always makes a product look high quality. It's definitely a great seasoning. I received a full sized bottle of the McCormick Gourmet Organic Garlic Powder, it was a 2.25oz glass jar, at no cost from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. I used this on many meals like; homemade garlic bread, spaghetti, when we grilled burgers, and also mixed into some mashed potatoes. Each dish was delicious, and I was glad I decided to use it each time.

This isn't "garlic flavoring", it's simple natural garlic. It has a fresh scent to it, no clumps, no flakes that look burned. So far we've used it in omelets and to make garlic bread, both of which came out with a stronger garlic taste than expected, but in a good way - it didn't leave that aftertaste some powders give. It's nothing fancy, just a solid quality product.

I knew this garlic powder was going to be good before I even used it for the first time. Just comparing it to what I was currently using, you can see that this garlic powder is so fine, like soft sand. When I opened the container I could actually smell garlic. My current stuff smells...dusty? I've used this garlic powder twice now, once for roasted potatoes and once to make garlic bread. The potatoes turned out perfect. One of my kids favorite sides is the roasted potatoes I make and he said these were the best potatoes I've made yet. This is saying a lot, because any time I use a different brand of anything, he can tell, and usually doesn't like it. The garlic bread I made turned out as expected, very good. I will definitely be replacing my current garlic powder with this garlic powder. I would recommend to anyone to just look at it in the store, you can see the difference.

McCormick Gourmet kindly sent me their Organic Garlic Powder to try through the BzzAgent sampling program and my family really enjoyed it! We're a big fan of garlic in general, but found this to be a particularly pure seasoning, showcasing true garlic flavor with no additives. We enjoying it on pasta, salmon, and homemade garlic bread. Would definitely recommend!

I've been trying to buy organic whenever possible, especially for spices since they are so concentrated. I finally picked up the McCormick Organic Garlic Powder, and I'm officially switching to this brand for good. My favorite thing is the potency. Because it doesn't have the anti-caking agents and additives that bulk up other powders, the flavor is so much stronger and more robust. A little goes a long way. If you love the taste of real roasted garlic, this is the one to get.

This is absolutely delicious in everything!! We've used it on potatoes, burgers, chicken, and several different vegetables and it's been delicious on everything! And the added knowledge that we're using cleaner spices for our family is a MAJOR bonus. We'll definitely be adding this to the rotation.

I tasted McCormick's Gourmet Organic Garlic powder side by side with Great Value Garlic powder (our normal) while the flavors we're overall very similar, I will say the McCormick's Gourmet Organic Garlic powder did have a bit more of the fresh garlic "burn" where as our normal garlic powder was a bit more muted in that regard. I enjoyed it a great deal.

We appreciated that the granules were very fine - made it very easy to blend into every day recipes. We used it in guacamole so we could taste the freshness and quality, as well as sauteed and baked dishes searing in the flavor. I didn't notice much of a difference between this and our normal garlic powder as far as scent and overall flavor. I would recommend trying this out the next time you're in the market for a quality spice.
