Fresh, Flavorful, and Perfect for Baking
Great quality and very fresh! The aroma is strong and warm, and a little goes a long way. I used it for baking, tea, and even coffee, and it added really nice flavor. Add a bit of the ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar to your americano and you have a lazy girl café de olla. Love that it's organic too.

Great taste, lovely packaging
Cloves are not a spice that I reach for frequently, but they are handy to have for baking, especially around the holidays. The McCormick Gourmet Organic Ground Cloves come in an attractively designed jar; however, the cap doesn't twist on very smoothly. I also don't love the little plastic cap inside with all of the holes. No one ever uses that! I always pry mine off and throw them out. Taste-wise, it's what you'd expect: warm, a bit spicy, and that classic gingerbready taste. If buying organic is of importance, then you will appreciate that about this line; however, I don't typically buy organic spices unless they are BOGO due to the price difference. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Seal on spice was tampered with and not sealed
I had to return this product to the store, because when I opened it to use it, the seal was broken and not attached to the product. I did re-purchase the item after first inspecting to make sure the seal was not broken on that one.
