McCormick Gourmet's Organic Ground Mustard was so fancy looking! I loved the higher end look of the bottle, as well as the quality of the ground mustard. The texture of the ground mustard was perfect for rubs and recipes. I ended up using it in my rub recipe for my steaks and it was easy to scoop and mix. I would purchase again!
Thank you McCormick who sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. I used it in an English style beef stew that I regularly make from scratch. The McCormick ground mustard gave it a richer, heartier taste and I only used a teaspoon. This product is stronger than mustard but was easy to substitute and my husband loved it!
I was excited to try this ground mustard in a glaze for the ham I got for easter. I usually get a honey flavored ham but went with hickory smoked and then made a honey glaze with ground mustard, honey and brown sugar. The ground mustard smelled very fragrant and was easy to use. I will be using this in the future when it gets warmer in my potato salad and on my chicken.
Even though I received the Mccormick Gourmet Organic Ground Mustard for free for my Honesty review, i had no problems trying it out. I tried it in many dishes that I made to see if it really was as good as claimed. For example, I used the ground mustard in a creamy pasta sauce and definitely it made the sauce more savory with a slight kick. The ground mustard give it some depth and more flavor and made the sauce extremely fragrant and tasty. I then tried it in my egg salad and ohh, my gosh, I wish I would have been doing this for years. I've only used yellow mustard in my egg salad. But now I know a little secret to add into the salad to make it have more of an exciting flavor. I received lots of compliments on my egg salad when normally people don't say a word and just eat it. Lastly, I tried the ground mustard in a dressing that I was making for a Mediterranean salad and once again my basic oil and vinegar and whole mustard seed salad dressing now is actually even better. And so I feel like I have found a new spice to put into my food that I know will up level it to something that I could be more proud of to make. Do I recommend the McCormick organic ground mustard? Absolutely. I just wish I knew about how wonderful this ground mustard was many years ago. But I cannot complain because it's always nice to find new spices that add an extra kick to things that you have been making for years. It is a nice added ingredient that brings a nice change to your dishes.
Quite honestly, I've never used organic ground mustard before but I felt like my dinners were becoming kind of blah, and I've been looking for some new seasonings to spice things up. This McCormick Gourmet Organic Ground Mustard definitely delivered! Added just the right amount of kick to my chicken and rice dish. My husband even commented, what's in here, this is really good. My teenagers liked it too! You only need to use a little so this is likely to last me a while.
I never used powdered mustard before so I wasn't sure how to use it but I put it in chicken salad and I seasoned grilled chicken with it and I would say that it added a nice flavor that was a little bit different than usual. I would have liked to have more time to try it before writing the review because I think it has a lot of possibilities to be used in all types of things. I'm going to put it in pasta salad and maybe even on egg salad.
The McCormick organic ground mustard did not disappoint! The smooth flavor had a powerful punch, eliminating unnecessary seasonings or ingredients. In The Masters ⛳️ theme, we made egg salad on sourdough bread with McCormick's ground mustard. Egg Salad ingredients: 8 eggs 85g (1/3 cup) of greek yogurt Dash of salt, pepper, cajun seasoning, and ground mustard. 1. Air fry (275*F for 15 mins) or boil eggs until your desired yolk texture. 2. Put eggs in an ice bath for a few minutes, and then peel. 3. Chop eggs to desired consistency. 4. Mix it all together! Chef tips: * Air fry the eggs at 275*F for 15 minutes for hard yolk or 10 minutes for softer yolk. * You can substitute greek yogurt with cottage cheese. We usually blend it! * Measure with your heart. We add extra ground mustard cajun or paprika seasoning to get a creamy, rich flavor.
I received a free sample of McCormick Gourmet Organic Ground Mustard from BzzAgent. This ground mustard has a sharp taste that gives foods some extra flavor. It mixes well with liquids or sauces that allow the powder to dissolve. I used it for deviled eggs and like the results. I will buy in the future.
I used this to make BBQ sauce. The flavor was good but the product was difficult to remove from the bottle. The bottle came with a shake top. Most do. I usually just throw them away because I usually measure my ingredients and rarely shake or sprinkle my ingredients. Most of the product compacted in the container. I had to dig it out to use it. Once it had been emptied about half way I was able to shake it up to add air and fluff it up.
This organic ground mustard adds a sharp little kick to dressings, mac & cheese, and even eggs. I like adding it to food when I'm looking for a slightly different taste to my food. It has a strong flavor so use lightly. It elevates basic meals instantly. Pantry staple for sure. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
