McCormick Gourmet Organic Mint, 0.25 oz Bottle

I received this McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Mint in exchange for a review. I've recently been trying some Mediterranean and Indian inspired recipes that called for mint. Previously the only mint I had on hand was my peppermint tea so I would use that. This month however is so much better. Just opening the jar you're hit with a delicious fragrant mint. My husband across the kitchen could smell it and commented on how nice it smelled. It's taste is about as good as it's smells, minty and slightly sweet. Other dried mints I've found are old and "green" tasting, but this was fresh, minty and delicately sweet. I'm curious about what varieties were used because the flavor is very dynamic, it doesn't taste like a singular variety of (for example) peppermint. I'm excited to use this for more new recipes. Though I wish McCormick's website had more than the one recipe I found. For those wanting to try new spices (or spices in a different way), it was disappointing that they had only one suggestion for how to use their mint. An interesting aside, I really like the jar: it's nice glass with a metal lid. It feels premium and not cheap like some of the discount spices I pick up.

The McCormick Gourmet Organic mint is much more flavorful than any mint I have tried in the past. Steeping it along with my tea added such a wonderful minty flavor. I also tried it in the dressing for my fruit salad. I normally use fresh mint in my dressing, but thought I would try the dried. It was just as flavorful. I would definitely recommend using this product.

Smells very fresh and works well to have in a pinch when cooking. I used this last when I made Mexican meatballs which requires fresh mint. In the dead of winter I couldn't exactly go to my yard to pluck some so this was very handy and didn't alter my recipe at all. Received this product for free in exchange for my honest review and I am glad I did!

Smells and tastes fresh for a dry herb. The package is impressive and has a high quality to it being all glass compared to a lot of McCormick generic herbs and spices. 10 out of 10 would recommend if you're in need of adding some good mint to your spice cabinet.

This organic mint has a remarkably fresh scent that really elevates my dishes. I've used it in both savory marinades and for baking. A little goes a long way, and the flavor is much brighter than other dried brands I've tried. Highly recommend for any home cook!

If tea feels too heavy or sometimes bitter, try this instead. This dry mint offer a refreshing taste, that feels lighter than tea. Naturally caffeine free so I have enjoyed it in the late afternoon - no sleep interruptions here. I honestly had no idea mint in hot water could taste this good and satisfy my tastebuds.

I enjoy this product a lot as it is convenient, easy to store, and always on hand when needed for a dish. Convenient, as I do not have to waste time finding, cleaning, and mincing fresh mint. I will buy this organic mint anytime, to add to Persian Salads, to Green Tea, and to my favorite chocolate covered strawberries . I would recommend it to my friends and family as its aromatic and slightly intense earthy flavor complements my dishes so wonderfully.

I received a jar to try for free in exchange for a review. I had never used dried mint before, so I looked up some options. I was amazed by all the ways this can be used, from recipes to potpourri! The dried leaves are bursting with fresh aroma and flavor. I made a tzatziki inspired veggie dip. It was so fresh and bright! I will continue to experiment with other recipes using this product.

I used the dried mint for brewing tea, it is very convenient. I used a plunger, put a tablespoon of the dried mint in it and hot water, wait for a few munutes and I had a nice cup of delicious tea. The quality of this organic mint is definitely superior, I would definitely buy it again in the future.

Absolutely love McCormick Organic Mint! The flavor is incredibly fresh and vibrant—way better than other dried mints I've tried. It adds the perfect touch to teas, desserts, and even savory dishes. You can really taste the quality, and I love that it's organic. Definitely a staple in my pantry!
