McCormick Gourmet Organic Turkish Bay Leaves, 0.18 oz Bottle

The McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Turkish Bay Leaves turned our beef brisket and veggies easter dinner into an absolutely tasty meal. The bay leave added a wonderful depth of flavor that we have not previously gotten in this meal. We will totally be buying this going forward.

I've been using these bay leaves in my homemade soups and stews, and they make a noticeable difference in flavor. I usually add one or two leaves while the soup is simmering, and it gives the broth a deeper, more rich and aromatic taste. The organic Turkish bay leaves have a better quality than other brands that I used. I love it !

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. First of all, I don't use bay leaves all too often. Only in goulash or roasts, typically. I made a big ol' pot of goulash shortly after receiving my sample kit, and I gotta say...best dang pot I've ever made. Now, can I say with absolute certainty that it was because of the bay leaves? No, I cannot. But I can tell you that I didn't change anything else about my recipe, except for the bay leaves, and I somehow concocted a pot of goulash that would make the gods weep with happy tears while wiping the copious amounts of saliva from their chins. 10/10, would buy once I run out.

Very fragrant bay leaves! This seemed to be one of the better bay leaf values. I expect them should very store well for a long time in the container with a screw on lid, which will also help to keep them from getting broken. I use them to cook with but I also use them to keep my sheep fleeces bug free and smelling nice.

Many seasonings on the shelf are sold as cheap, low quality, occasionally used items. These bay leaves are not intended for occasional hobby cooks. Amazing quality, superb flavor, and excellent packaging! For anyone looking for authentic, QUALITY driven ingredients. You've found it. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Most of them are nice in size and surprisingly none of them were broken up as that tends to happen with majority of the bayleaves ive purchased. They were dried but not to the point that they break if you handle them too much. They have definitely elevated my dishes. Thanks so much

I think they're more flavorful than the bay leaves I usually buy and they give my meals great added flavor - highly recommend!

I've tried a few different bay leaves before, and these organic Turkish ones are definitely better. They have a stronger smell and actually add noticeable flavor to my cooking, unlike some brands that feel kind of dull. I like that they're organic and stay fresh for a long time. They really make a difference in soups, rice, and sauces. I would buy these again and would recommend them to anyone who cooks at home. Simple but good quality.

I had a chance to use the McCormick gourmet organic Turkish bay leaves in recent sauce. I was making. Opening the package, the smell hits you, stronger and fresher than regular dry bay leaves. The Mediterranean hints from the leaves themselves added a nice umami addition to my sauce.
