Worth Every Sprinkle

KFlo_ April 15, 2026

I recently used McCormick Gourmet Roasted Saigon Cinnamon in a batch of homemade cinnamon rolls, and the difference was immediately noticeable. The aroma alone is richer and warmer than standard cinnamon, but what really stood out was the depth of flavor once baked. It has a bold, slightly sweet intensity that made the filling taste more indulgent without needing to add extra sugar. It blended beautifully with the butter and brown sugar, creating that classic cinnamon roll flavor but elevated. Even after baking, the cinnamon flavor stayed pronounced and didn't get lost, which can sometimes happen with other brands. If you bake often or just want your recipes to taste a little more special, this is absolutely worth it. It's one of those small upgrades that makes a big impact.

Very Spiced Cinnamon!

Dani April 19, 2026

I received this as a gift with the condition to write a fair review. This cinnamon is spicy! Like a fresh red hot it smells and tastes amazing. This is the perfect addition to a spice cake, to top off a coffee or for a brilliant spiced icing. A must have for that authentic spicy cinnamon flavor.

high quality

Reviewer123 April 19, 2026

I absolutely love cinnamon - it is one of my favorite spices. This version from McCormick is fantastic! It has a wonderful rich flavor. The packaging is beautiful and high quality. It has a plastic top with holes for sprinkling that can be removed for spooning out larger quantities.

This is simply: Wow!

Sam C April 19, 2026

I didn't realize how much difference cinnamon could make until I tried McCormick Gourmet Roasted Saigon Cinnamon. I use cinnamon all the time in baking, oatmeal, coffee, etc. This one is on a completely different level from standard grocery‑store cinnamon. The first thing I noticed when I opened the jar was the smell. It's warm, rich, and almost toasty, not sharp or dusty. It smells like cinnamon sticks warming in the oven rather than raw ground spice. You can immediately tell it's been roasted because the aroma is deeper and more rounded. I've started by using it in my morning oatmeal. Normally I sprinkle cinnamon on top and barely notice it unless I use a lot. With this cinnamon, a small amount goes a long way. It blends into the oats and gives a cozy, slightly sweet flavor without tasting sugary. It made plain oatmeal taste like something you'd order at a café. I also tried it in French toast, mixing it into the egg and milk before dipping the bread. The flavor held up really well during cooking. Instead of disappearing, it actually came through more once the toast browned. It gave the French toast a warm, almost caramel‑like note that didn't need much syrup. Where this cinnamon really shines is baking. I used it in apple muffins, and the difference was noticeable even before baking. The batter smelled incredible. After baking, the cinnamon flavor was rich and smooth, not harsh or bitter like some ground cinnamons can be when heated. It paired perfectly with apples and brown sugar and made the whole kitchen smell amazing. The texture is fine and smooth, not clumpy, and it blends easily into both wet and dry recipes. The jar itself feels sturdy and seals well, which matters because this is the kind of spice you'll want to keep fresh. This is now my go‑to cinnamon. It's the kind of ingredient that makes everyday food taste special without needing extra effort. Whether you bake often or just sprinkle cinnamon on breakfast, this is a noticeable upgrade. If you enjoy cooking or baking and want deeper flavor without adding sugar, I highly recommend giving McCormick Gourmet Roasted Saigon Cinnamon a try. Once you use it, regular cinnamon feels like a downgrade.

Great taste-pleasantly surprised!

Jane d April 14, 2026

I'll be honest—cinnamon usually feels like a pretty standard pantry item, so I didn't expect much difference here. But the McCormick Gourmet Roasted Saigon Cinnamon pleasantly surprised me. Also huge thank you to McCormick for the free product as they sent it to me in exchange for an honest review. I've been using it in my morning coffee, and it adds a really warm, rich flavor without being overpowering. I've also sprinkled it on toast with honey, and it definitely stands out compared to some of the more generic brands I've used before. The taste is just a bit stronger and cleaner, which makes a noticeable difference in simple uses like these. Overall, it's a solid upgrade from basic cinnamon and something I'll keep reaching for.

Flavorful!

Mrs Crews April 12, 2026

As soon as I opened the seasoning, I could smell the delicious aroma! It smelt just like a cinnamon roll. I used this in my vanilla latte in the morning and it was 10/10 on flavor! I can't wait to try this in other baking dishes and cinnamon rolls!!

Smoky spice and everything nice

Sam May 4, 2026

Growing up in a Europe, cinnamon is a frequent addition for many nostalgic and beloved recipes. I had the opportunity to try the Roasted Saigon Cinnamon spice from McCormick for free. The first thing I noticed was the pungent aroma when the jar was opened. Immediately, I was reminded of family cookie recipes during the holidays and cinnamon/applesauce ornaments. It transported me back to several beloved memories, and that's before even tasting it. We explored several recipes while trying the Roasted Saigon Cinnamon out, but favorites included homemade spaghetti sauce and French toast bread pudding. The flavor carried through in the flavor complexity for both sweet and savory, and the aroma stayed prominent. I really enjoyed using this and can't wait for the holidays to make new memories with this spice utilized frequently. Thank you for the free sample to try.

I received this product in exchange for my review. The profile of this Cinnamon is dark and bold. It definitely has a deep flavor profile. I tried it on a tried and true classic….. toast, but can't wait to try it in pancakes and baking!
