McCormick Grill Mates Applewood Rub, 4.41 oz

This is a great spice to put on a rack of ribs! I love it! Very rich and tasteful! Let it sit for at least 12 hours but it will also work as a quick add on. Value? Awesome! Excellent taste! I love it! I mix it with a fruit juice and your meats will come out awesome. I live overseas and it is great that Walmart ships to those of us serving overseas in the interest of our country! I usually don't do much cooking, so I have never tried using a rub on meats before. This year I broke down and purchased a outdoor grill, and tried my luck at doing some grilling. I purchased some Rub at a local grocery store, trying it on hamburgers. They turned out OK (thank God they didn't burn) but was not too impressed with the flavor. So when I got this Applewood Rub from Grill Mates, I tried it on some T-bone steaks. OMG this rub is fantastic! It is so easy to used and it can be used on all types of meat, and seafood too. It has the most divine flavor, and now I'm definitely going to try all the other flavors they make. You can't go wrong with GRILL MATES.....

McCormick Applewood Rub Grill Mates is soooo good on pork chops. Just rub liberally with McCormick Applewood Rub, then bake, broil or bbq on the grill. My husband is very particular about the taste of his meat dishes and even he really loved the taste. This product also imparts a special taste to chicken breasts in foil on the grill.

Deboned some chicken, used as a dry rub, let sit overnight and then grilled. So good!

Received this free product from Influenster and even then, my pantry has never been without it. It just adds kick to everything I eat without it being super spicy. It's tangy and adds flavour to everything I eat it with. I sometimes use it on marinades and sauces! And it's so good on grilled chicken wings!! I would be lying I didn't say that our bottle is actually already finished!!

I'm not a fan of the spicy food but Frank's Red hot cayenne pepper sauce is mild and so fragrant . It add lots of flavor to the almost any dishes. My daughter likes it too. Last time we added it to pizza! I will definitely recommend it I received it free to try and review

Grill Mates Applewood Rub The Applewood Rub comes in a 4.41 ounce container. The spice is made in the USA which is always a selling point for me. The fragrance of the spices and herbs are very pleasing. I can't say that one spice stands out from the rest but it is nice. The combination of these spices makes me hungry. My mom and I have used McCormick spices since I was a kid. This Applewood rub can be used on pork,chicken, beef, salmon and shrimp. I tried this in hamburgers and it was wonderful. Instead of my usual bread crumbs and French onion soup mix, I used bread crumbs and applewood rub. It gave it a smokey delicious taste. I think I will use this rub on everything. It is not a overwhelming spice and seems to enhance the flavor of my food.

I picked this item because we use several of McCormick seasonings and have never been let down. We love b.b.q. and especially with any pork. It was a little too spicy for me. It has several different Peppers in it, so I could not taste much of a Apple taste. I think Maybe if I used Apple smoke chips it may have a different outcome. If you do like something with a little heat this would be for you. I will continue to use this Item because friends and other family members will like it this summer. I am going to try less Spice and maybe use a light sauce so that I can still enjoy the product and not upset my stomach. I do recommend this product.

Normally I am leary to try new spices and rubs. However, I was able to receive McCormick Applewood Rub Grill Mates for free through the Walmart Sparks Review program. I used the McCormick dry rub on chicken. As soon as I opened the jar of rub I was impressed. The reason I am hesitant to try rubs is because I find the meat to be too dry. This was not the case with the chicken I made. I cooked the chicken on the grill in aluminum foil packets. The flavor of the chicken was very good and had a nice smoky taste. However, if your not a fan of pepper, you might not like this rub.

It's a great hot sauce but it isnt spicy enough. I tried the extra spicy hot sauce they make but still isnt hot enough. The taste is amazing but I need hotter
