I've had similar seasonings in the past so honestly my expectations were somewhat neutral however i think as blown away by this seasoning blend. I felt it had the perfect amount of both savory and sweet that really completed the dish. I will definitely repurchase as it is perfect for kabobs in the summer!

If you like sweet barbecue- style seasoning this one is for you! I personally prefer more bold, spicier flavors, so I thought this one was ok and a little too sweet for my taste and I expected more bourbon flavor. It creates a nice crust because of the brown sugar and you can use it in different meats. If you don't usually enjoy sweet rubs this might be too sweet for you but you if you like honey bbq or other sweet and savory meats definitely give it a try!

Overall, we felt like this had good flavor. We used the product on top of hamburger patties. The bourbon flavor was not quite as strong as I would have liked but wasn't bad. Our only major complaint was that this product seemed to taste way saltier than other McCormick products we have used in the past.
