McCormick Non-GMO Kosher Chili Powder, 4.5 oz Bottle

This is an absolute staple in my home. I use this brand chili powder for all of my Mexican inspired meals. Ever since I stopped buying store packets of taco seasoning, chili powder is my base for my homemade version. So delicious and packed with flavor.

This is the best option for someone who does not like or cannot tolerate hot red pepper, but likes the taste and flavor. This spice is awesome and goes well with meat and fish. Excellent all around flavor that mingles well with others without overpowering.

I have been using the McCormick brand for years, and the quality it always amazing and the chili powder was no exception. I recently made my home made fettuccine for dinner and added the McCormick Chili Powder with my other spices, and it took the fettuccine to another level. I was a bit apprehensive when adding it because I do not like too much spice in my food, but It added the perfect amount of spice without being too over powering. I was very impressed with the flavor and will definitely be purchasing more in the future!

When I first tried this chili powder I didn't expect much. I honestly just thought it would taste like any other chili powder I've used in the past. What surprised me first was the aroma. I measured out what was needed for the recipe and the scent was so rich and deep I had to look at the bottle again to make sure I was using chili powder. It smells and tastes much more rich and flavorful than the other brands of chili powder out there. You can tell it its a quality product.

This style of chili powder was incredible! The bottle was full of so much flavor and the most lovely color of red. I tried it on and in everything!! Pasta, shrimp, chili and even on my eggs. The container is sturdy and I know this might sound silly- but the holes that allow the power to come out were perfect. The container doesn't clog! It's really easy to use especially when my hands hurt.

The McCormick chili powders flavor really pulled my 3 meat (venison, ground beef, stew beef) chili together. Love the flip top cover, makes it so much easier when trying to multi task without having to fumble with a screw cap and then mis place it or mix it up with a different spice. Nice smooth flow from the holes in the top, no caking or clumps. McCormick spices are always in my cupboard.

This chili powder heat level is really hot. I used it for a recipe I had made many times, and it came out quite spicy. The quality seems good since they included more spice. The size is what expected and the price was really great. The color and smell is what I expected of chili powder. Overall met my expectations and would recommend to others.

It's winter time around here - ok just really cold! And that means it's chili weather!!! I made chili this week using McCormicks Chili Powder and it didn't disappoint! I did have to take the lid off to get powder out. For some reason the sprinkle cap wasn't sprinkling very well. But maybe it was humid that day. I recommend this tried and true chili powder!

I received the McCormick's chili powder from Bzzagent for review. McCormick's chili powder was a great addition for my tacos on Tuesday! I usually use a premix, but for this one, I made my own taco seasoning using the chili powder along with other spices and it was definitely a favorite! It added depth of flavor without heat for the kids which you can't control with premix seasonings. I will say I think the flavor could be bolder as it took quite a bit of the chili powder to add flavor to the dish. I also added some to a batch of chili and was happy with it as well, but had the same issue with needing to use more to get the bold flavor I was looking for. Because I had to add more to get the bold flavor I was looking for the chili ended up having a bit of a chalky texture almost so that was a bit disappointing. Overall I enjoyed the taste of the chili powder and appreciated that it wasn't too salty, especially given that I needed to add more of it to my recipes.
