I'm a sucker for country gravy. Its extremely versatile. Whether it's breakfast making biscuits and McCormicks gravy just add some cooked breakfast sausage or my absolute favorite chicken fried steak with McCormicks country gravy and add a little ground beef. I'm soaking up every last drop of the gravy.

This made for a great, "in a pinch" kind of meal. Its a little salty and very bland so I added some spices to it. I had some premade country fried steak patties that I heated up in the oven. Put this on top with some canned green beans, a little rice, and some left over texas toast as sides on a night where I only had a few minutes to get a meal on the table. It worked but isnt something I would eat on a normal basis. Might keep some in the pantry for another night like that one though. I received this for free in order to leave an unbiased review.

My local grocery store had the Tyson Country Fried Steaks on sale, so I bought those and paired them with the gravy. It was delicious! Very similar to what you get at Cheddar's- Thick yet creamy. I like how this is not heavy on pepper- i love lots of pepper but my family does not, so I just add extra pepper to my dish. And love how you just add water, no dairy, oils or anything needed. HIghly recommend!

I have tried many country gravy packets but McCormick definitely beats them all. The direction very easy to read and cooking time is fast. The gravy thickens up perfectly making my Biscuits and gravy just perfect. This product is worth using over and over.

I got to try this gravy for free from Mccormick as part of a sampling program, and I ended up really enjoying it! It was easy to make, though I thought I had messed up when the bottom was all lumpy.

Overall, I would recommend this product for someone looking for a quick and very easy way to make country gravy. The flavor and texture is good and the instructions are super easy - just add water! I will say though that making homemade country gravy isn't all that hard, but this makes it even quicker and easier. We enjoyed this gravy over biscuits but it's also great for country fried steak or chicken, as shown on the packet.
