Love this gravy. It is fast to make, and I use it when I don't feel up to making homemade gravy or I don't have time for homemade gravy. My family really likes it.
The bottle of gravy powder is so much more convenient than the pouch of gravy mix as I am a single person and I have more control as to making a small amount of gravy rather than the packet that makes a full cup of gravy .
This large tire is great to make as much gravy as I want. Definitely cheaper than buying the individual packets. Easy directions right on the bottle.
It's surprising how good this inexpensive powered gravy mix tastes. Without pan drippings, you can have a passable poultry gravy in a minute or two. It can also be added to packaged broth to flavor and thicken it up a little. I always keep some on hand.
This gravy is exactly the same as you purchase in small, single serve envelopes, only so much cheaper! It's thick & delicious. It is good for turkey, chicken, even pork. I did adjust the amount of gravy mix and used 4 tbsps to 1 cup of water instead of 1/4 cup of mix. I found using 1/4 cup of mix makes the gravy way too thick for my liking.
Tastes great. Easy to make in just a few minutes when you need to make it quickly rather than from scratch.
I was really impressed with the taste . All ready purchased more. Simple to mix up and very handy to have on hand
Bulk gravy mix, like this, is much better than the packs if you're making just a little bit for one person. This is much better because there is no waste.
I bought this for the first time recently. I was surprised at what a great deal it was. It makes a very good gravy for either chicken and turkey. It's easy to use, makes a very tasty gravy and you get a lot of mix for the price. The only reason it didn't get a 5 is the sodium level, but almost all gravy mixes have a high sodium level. All in all, it's a great item to have on hand. I used it plain over some leftover turkey I had in the freezer. and also added a crushed hot pepper from my garden and used it as a turkey pot pie with diced vegetables and everyone loved it.
I am very disappointed in this product. I have often used other flavors of gravy mix from this brand, but this is the first time trying this particular flavor. I expected the same simplicity in making the gravy that I have experienced with any others I have tried, but was disappointed that the gravy that usually only needs simmered for one minute actually needs to simmer for a minimum of 5-8 minutes when using this variation. This wouldn't have been such a big deal if this fact wasn't hidden so well in the product description that it wasn't seen. I even went back and looked at the description for the information and it was very difficult to find the full directions for making the gravy. Once I read the full directions on the label (which is not shown in the listing) I saw that this gravy is actually unsafe to eat without cooking it for all of the extra time. Additionally, my quick lunch wasn't fast enough for those who only had a short time to eat before going back to work. They had to eat their lunch without the gravy because it was still cooking! If I am going to spend this much time making gravy I will make it from scratch. I buy the mix to save time when I need it quickly. If I can make it faster from scratch then I have no use for a mix. This was a waste of money and I am very disappointed that I wasted my money on this instead of something worthwhile.
