Can't go back to other vanillas now
Yes, you can taste the difference. Their standard vanilla extract tastes harsh in comparison; this has a mellower flavor, with more complexity and a rich undertone. And they are NOT kidding when they suggest trying this in coffee. Just a smidgen and your coffee is elevated. I like to put it in my mochas to give them an extra hot cocoa-like touch. It makes for awesome French toast batter, too.

Small Batch Pure Vanilla is Packed w/Rich Flavor
Love the aroma, taste and overall texture, and depth of flavor, in this "Small Batch Pure Vanilla Extract". And, seeing as it's from McCormick, you'll rest assure the quality is always going to be there. Try this: Add 1 teaspoon of "Small Batch Pure Vanilla Extract by McCormick" along with a tablespoon of McCormick Ground Cinnamon to your favorite package or waffle mix for an instant upgrade to boring old pancakes.

My vanilla of choice
This has become my vanilla of choice, even preferable to more expensive gourmet vanilla I've tried, and comes in cheaper per ounce. Just wish they would offer it in larger sizes, since I go through it quite fast between baking and coffee.

McCormick Small Batch Vanilla
Wonderful strong scent. This will be great in holiday baking. Glad I found this. Extracted in small batches for intense, rich vanilla flavor, capturing distinctive hints of caramel and chocolate. Madagascar bourbon.

I wish the bottle was a little bit bigger. McCormick is a well-known brand. The essence has a great scent and taste.

Good vanilla for the price
It is not bad. I have been using Simply Organic vanilla extract but since it is very expensive these days, I decided to give it a try. It does have a very good taste of vanilla but at some point the alcohol smell is a little bit overwhelming .
