McCormick Teriyaki Chicken Seasoning Mix, 1.25 oz Packet

Very easy/handy to make a quality recipe of Teriyaki chicken at home on week nights, saves lots of time. Only prep needed is getting your meat ready and cook time. Has sweet & savor flavors to it. Little salty for my taste so I added some pineapple juice and brown sugar to enhance the tangy flavor. Can be eaten with noodle/rice dish, stir-fry vegetables on the side. I think would taste good with other kind of meats/fish/vegetables also. Very flavorful & good quality. Will definitely buy again.

This was an easy quick meal night. It's super easy to prep and to make it only takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Very little ingredients are needed to make it. It is super yummy and flavorful. It has the perfect teriyaki taste. That's not too overpowering. You get that salty sweet teriyaki that you're used to with the perfect amount of Unami to it. It has a subtle garlic and ginger notes to it. Definitely a family favor. Now my two little is definitely loved it definitely recommend for a super quick easy meal on those busy nights.

I added fresh crack pepper just to give it small kick for my kids becausethey love fresh crack peppers in everthing. Overall the sauce thickened up after a few minutes with the water cooked down. Coated the chicken well and held the flavor. I will be purchased this to keep in my pantry for days where I want to make quick easy and delicious meal for the family. This Teriyaki Chicken Seasoning Mix was no different. Directions were clear, easy to follow and I needed only three items. That cuts time & scrabbling right there. The seasoning thickened after a few minutes. Leaving a rich brown teriyaki sauce all over my chicken. The flavor was right on, it had the teriyaki blast of flavor without; being to salty. Fridays are football nights which brings craziness. I rush to fix something that's not fast food before the game in one hour tops. McCormick got me done with time to spare & everyone was full & healthy. Easy, fast, taste great plus healthier what mom could ask for more? This marinade does a great job at coding your chicken with the beautiful Rich color. The flavor is very mild. This is not a sweet teriyaki or salty version. I would enhance the ginger and garlic if you want additional flavor on your protein.

Mccormick sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. I love trying new items to add flavor quickly to dinner. This packet made it so I was able to change up the soy sauce I normally keep in my cabinet with out getting another bottle of something. I liked the flavors my picky eater asked for seconds. I do wish it was a little sweeter for personal taste.

Perhaps I did not follow the recipe closely enough but my finished product was not saucy like the front of the packet picture. It had very subtle teriyaki flavor, which one of my kiddos actually happened to like, but any adult would request a lot more of the flavor itself. It was alright....

I really looked forward to trying this, but it kind of fell flat. The flavor just wasn't what I expected from teriyaki chicken. The flavor was more salty than what we like and our household likes salt. I was really surprised because I am a big user of McCormick seasonings. It wasn't bad, but definitely not something I would buy again.

Why doesn't Walmart text me anymore about substitions? I ordered Generals Chicken seasoning and received Teriyaki Chicken seasoning. I don't like Teriyaki Chicken. Walmart is falling down on customer service. I want my money back. No. I am not driving to Walmart to exchange it.

I love a good teriyaki chicken so I was excited to try this. My kids aren't fans of Chinese food so I did wait awhile to try this for a night by myself. That never ended up happening sooo I made it for a quick weeknight dinner. It was super watery. I tried to simmer it down but it never thickened up. All in all myself and my family did not enjoy this product, but again maybe I messed it up some how. Would I try it again yeah but I wouldn't spend my money on it.
