McDavid Hex Sternum 3/4 Shirt Wht/Ryl Youth X-Large

If you have an athlete in baseball or softball, I'd highly recommend this sternum protector. The shirt is made to be tight around the body so that the hex design stays close to what it is protecting. It has given both my kids confidence don the field as they develop in the game. The material is light and has mesh so it's breathable and your athlete can wear without overheating. The only one area I would improve on this shirt is the neck line is also small but rides high, peeking out from under their jerseys.

It's exactly the way it looks. I just wish it had a bigger padding, so that's just my issue. If you are just looking for a thin padding for a little extra security this is it. Have no issue with the shirt. It is what it is and is accurate.

Runs way too small. Kids head didn't fit through neck hole. Needed to stretch it out it was so tight.

I don't recommend. It Looks good, but fatally flawed: youth players want/need Back protection. That's where the ball hits them. They always turn.
