Great fit and protection
Size medium fit my 12-year old daughter. Snug fit and doesn't fall down during basketball games. She used to get lots of bruises and these knee pads have really helped. Recommend only hand washing.

Ok, but get legging version if you can
I've been buying these in black and white every basketball season for 2 kids for quite a few years. They blow out pretty quickly. If you can get the legging version those seem to be better quality/more durable, but I haven't seen them small enough for my 15 year old daughter. (The leggings also stay in place better.) These work well for their purpose of protecting knees, but they don't last very long considering their price. The very first game of this season, my daughter's already tore and started falling apart. Seems like they could be made more durable.

no good
bought for my son for wrestling after 2practices and one tournament it is completely destroyed! the hexagon pads are smashed and moved to the outer corners. now out $25 and going to buy new!
