Best side of humanity shown.
Loved it. Bought it the next day. Supreme acting. Love the theme of 'never give up to make your dreams come true, regardless of where you started from or what anyone else tells you. One person believing in you can change your life.' Utmost respect for this coach. You will love it if you love to see the human spirit soar. Feel tears just talking about it.

McFarland, USA Movie
My 12 year old daughter requested this movie as a Christmas gift. I was a little upset when we received it. The cover box was slightly damaged and the disk itself appeared to have scratches. On the upside the movie played fine and it turned out to be one of the best heartfelt movies we've ever watched. What started out as a movie for my daughter turned into a movie for the FAMILY. We all loved it.

Excellent movie based on a true story. I really liked that they showed us the real people today and updated us on what happened to them afterward. Very heartwarming

Well, I was excited about this purchase. My family and I had seen the movie in theatres. We got half way through the movie and then the sound goes out. Don't know if this is common with DVDs purchased from Wal-Mart, but this instance, was very disappointing.
