Cane is well made and not to heavy. The handle can of course, be turned around so you can use it on either side of your body with the short legs pointing to your legs. Wife doesn't use it when walking, can still kick the canes legs. We have a few steps in the house, and uses it to help stabilize on them.
I ordered this cane and had it within 2 days and have been using it steadily. It is sturdy and I feel very secure using it as I have a sprained left ankle and a right knee cap that had trauma due to a fall I had. I also love that it came in black.
I purchased this four prong cane for my sister that live in a different state. She stated that she liked it, that it was okay.
I bought this for my dad. It seems to be sturdy. He likes it. I like that you can adjust it since my dad is tall.
It works just fine, but it can be a bit wobbly as other reviews mentioned.
This cane is extremely well built. It makes so much sense to have four points of balance and that the two feet closest to the user are shorter than the two to the outside. This basically removes the chance of tripping over them, which was my fear. The most convenient thing about a quad cane is that it stands beside you, avoiding that constant noise of hitting the floor! I have used a basic cane for four years. I, personally, am having difficulty making the transition. I'm expecting and hoping to feel more improved balance with additional usage.
After hip replacement, I needed a cane. The four pronged base give's stability, but also tends to get tangled up with my foot.
Great price and well made. But it's a bit heavy unless you need a weapon.
Lightweight and sturdy. Good for the price.
I have to say I am disappointed. The cane feels flimsy to me and even worse there is no way to adjust the legs so I feel I am holding the "feet" from the side which is not comfortable. I don't know why because this would have been such a simple option to provide. I barely use it at all and can't even find a way to remove the "feet" to replace them with sturdier ones. Two stars for the price but I don't recommend it.
