McKesson Digital Oral Thermometer, Probe, Hand Held

This is the first digital thermometer I used back when my 3rd grader was an infant. We have tried out four other ones including an ear thermometer and the spongebob one. I have gone back to this one as it was the most accurate. I could call into the nurse with the temperature and when my daughter was checked at the doctor's office, the reading was exactly the same. This has not been true with the others. The ear one was the worst for us because even though it was supposed to beep if the angle was off, the reading would fluctuate by a degree or two when taking consecutive temperature readings. Sponge bob was off between a degree and half a degree which I could live with but eventually my kids got hold of it and lost it. So after I have lived and learned I am going back to this one. Its not flashy but I trust the reading every time and to me that is worth a great deal when I am already worrying about a sick kid with a high fever.

Constantly reads between 96.5 and 97 degrees. Pretty sure my body temperature isn't that low, especially when I have a fever. Worthless thermometer, wasted my money on it.

The shipping was faster than I expected. I like the feature of the Digital Oral Thermometer Latex Free that let people chose between degree Celsius and degree Fahrenheit. I have used it every day since I receive it, and I would recommend it to everyone I know.

Beep barely audible, printout too small, button flimsy; having to push button 3x to take temp too much.

This has replaced my mother's mercury thermometer in my medicine cabinet. It's there when I need it, I know it works, it was inexpensive

upon receipt, already said LOW BATTERY

Good thermometer, does the trick. My kids can even use it themselves.
