Seeing some of the negative reviews had to do with Walmart shipping I gave it a try. Overall I am satisfied after playing several games with a friend and on my own. pros darts are fair quality few bounce outs installation was straight forward scoreboard is great, white dry erase cons board does not heal well does not have shooting line board and light difficult to install plastic shafts break doesnt hold flight well Overall i think its a good value at the sale price compared to other products. If you are looking for an entry level dartboard for occasional play this will not disappoint. I am happy with this purchase at this time.

The MD Sports Bristle Dartboard Cabinet with LED lights comes with six steel tip darts, dry erase marker, self healing Sisal Board and thankfully it's pre-assembled , it is so much heavier than I imagined. It came packaged extremely well took me a long time to get it out of the box but once I did it was awesome, it had everything you need for hours of competitive fun, it does take a lot of wall space and needs to be connected to a stud or it will not hold, thankfully I have an great place to put it up in an outbuilding for my boys to have a blast trying to outdo each other, who knows it looks like fun so I may try it myself, I give it 5 stars for quality, value, looks and just pure fun.

There's a LOT to love about this MD Sports Bristle Dartboard Cabinet Set! It comes with LED Lights and Steel Tip darts! The darts are gorgeous, not like any I've seen before. I've attached a picture of them. There is literally no assembly. You do need to locate studs on your wall because this dart board is very heavy and substantial. You will also need 3 triple A batteries for the light. YES, it has a light at the top that lights up the board for a more professional look and so you can see your target area a little better! The board is a sisal one so the recovery from the dart holes is fantastic! This isn't an average dart board but an official size and quality. The steel outer ring is movable and numbered so you can rotate it to help preserve the board and make it last longer. The darts go into the board very well, no bouncing out. There are scoreboards on the sides for us serious dart throwers along with a dry erase marker, although I had to get another one of those. This dart board came perfectly packaged and I'm just blown away by the quality! We love it!

This is really heavy! I have not gotten it on the wall yet because it's so heavy I need help to get it securely mounted. This set is really pretty nice. Darts feel properly weighted and balanced. Nice heavy feel and throw smoothly and straight. The target is very thick and seems to heal pretty well. The dry erase marker comes off easily. The case is pretty solid even though it's made from some kind of mds? board and not wood. The material feels strong. The joints and seams are not all lined up well though and it cheapens the appearance imho. See pics. I wish it was assembled with a little more care so the framing looked as nice as the rest of the set. But hey when you're playing darts you're usually drinking beer so maybe it won't be so noticeable. Unless your looking closely at it you may not notice it. I still think it would be a great purchase for a game room or garage where or wherever it doesn't have to be pretty.

Weighs almost 20 lbs Measures 32" wide x 20" tall x 3 1/2" deep. Frame: Made from wood with a dark brown colored veneer. The inside back is covered in a black fabric that feels like velvet. Some areas of the wood have marks on the edge, but are easily covered with a dark brown magic marker. Light: Single LED light to fit into the center hole on the top. The light switch box mounts on the interior of the frame. There is a piece of black adhesive foam to attach to the light's wires. The light is where you need 3 AAA batteries. The light is not enough to light the whole board, it's more a pretty feature vs functional. Mounting: Comes with two 1 1/4" wall screws with anchors. We used molly screws to hang this on the wall. The wood frame and dartboard are a heavy combination. To me, the provided screws would pull out of drywall, especially if they were not in a wall stud. Also included are screws and a mounting frame bracket for the dartboard. An Allen key is included. You need both a Phillips and a Standard screwdriver as well as a drill. Instructions are mostly in pictures that depict the process clearly and the words provided seem easy to follow. The hanging height is on page 6 ("hang at 78.66" from the floor") - read the instructions before hanging on the wall. From the floor to the center of bullseye, the height is 68.25" (noted on page 8). Dartboard: Bristle board heals appropriately, the darts do not bounce off the board. The divisions are painted as well as metal. The black frame around the boar is metal. The back is particle board backing, so it is not reversible. 6 darts are provided. The darts feel weighted. Metal shafts. Foldable plastic fins. Easy to throw and they easily go into the dartboard. There are 3 dart storage holes on each side of the frame, in front of the scoring area. Scoring Area: Painted black background. The white marker is NOT visible at all, even after waiting for the ink to dry. When the ink is wet, the ink is easily erasable. Good quality chalk would be more effective. We're using a chalk marker in yellow. Packaging: Huge praise for the company's packers keeping the product free from damage! This is double boxed, with a 1/2" cardboard buffer between the outside and the inside boxes with lots of additional support within the interior box. This is a good board for a game room, easy to follow instructions for quicker assemble. I give this 4 stars because of the not visible marker and the lack of efficiently supportive wall screws.

This arrived in good shape, well packed with plenty of cushion to prevent breakage during shipping. However the two (uncommonly) small screws that attach the LED light were missing. I had to use double sided tape to attach the fixture until I can find the right size to permanently attach it. (The light must be attached first in order to fit the board into place.). Otherwise it was easy to assemble and looks great on the wall. All of the areas where braces and bumpers are to be attached are marked and easy to screw or hammer into the cabinet or board. The cabinet is well made and would look good on any background. The darts have a nice heft and the points easily penetrate the board or, in my case, stick smoothly into the wall. Haha! Other than the failure to include all of the necessary screws, I am very pleased and would purchase again, especially as a gift for teens or adults.

I think this dart board would be a great addition to a party to add some fun and competition. Some event where the board wouldn't be a long term addition to one's basement bar or man cave. For a short term use I think it a good value. It is not well made and doesn't go together slick. There is a hanger that mounts in the middle of the cabinet and then a simple large screw goes into the back side of the dart board in the center. Then there are three little bumpers that go on the edge of the backside of the board so that the whole assembly fits snugly in place only it doesn't. 1st you cannot hang the board with the LED light installed. Of course the directions have you install the light long before you get to hanging the dart board. You need that 1/4" of space to raise the board high enough to slide into the hanger. Then it is a little tight to get the light back in place. The rubber bumpers never touch the cabinet. The hanger sticks out farther than the thickness of the bumpers. You could possibly stick washers under the bumpers to fill the gap. So as it comes the target hangs rather loosely in place and wobbles a little when hit with a dart. The fit and finish of the cabinet is not that great.

I ordered this dartboard on December 2, 2020. The product was in stock and was given a date for delivery. On the day of delivery, I was sent an email informing me that the dartboard was on backorder! I did not receive it until January 5th. My daughter ordered something also and it was not available as promised. My Dartboard was nice but the service sucked! I will never order from Walmart again.

We received this as a Christmas present weeks after it was ordered. It smelled like mildew and looked like there was mold or a white substance on the board. Received a replacement and it is the same way.
