MD Sports Official Size Ping Pong Table Tennis Table, 4 Piece Foldable Design with Net & Accessories, Blue/White

Background: I'm a 60 yr old who has had several tables from age 12 to now. I have owned cheap masonite to very expensive multilayer slate encased in an aluminum frame. This table is made of MDF or higher grade particle board with a nice laminate or slate layer. Compared to my cheapest previous table that had very little ball rebound, this table has a pretty fair bouce or rebound, not as good as the top end table but pretty decent especially for the price. I read several reviews on this site and Amazon that stated the paddles were very poor quality, I did not find this to be the case. The paddles had a cheap wood handle, but one side with black rubber (no dimples) and one orange side with dimples. I already had purchase two higher quality Franklin paddles but the ones provided were actually quit good, not as good as the Franklin paddles. I have owned new table tennis sets that had paddles with cheap wood handles covered with a layer of light grade sandpaper on each surface..that cheap , the ones provided with this set are actually quite good in comparison! Likes %26 Dislikes: The unit came packaged very well and took me two hours to unpack and confirm all pieces were accounted for. I had zero damage except one inside corner at the table middle was coming apart but not even enought to repair. I heard horror stories about the assembly time and some complaints about the instructions. I found none of this to be true but I have the proper tools and am an experienced craftsman. I downloaded the BLT app and used this and the printed instructions with zero issues! it took me about 3 hours but I took my time and not as fast as I used to be at my age. My only dislike werevthe pung pong balls provided were poor quality, not much bounce but that wasn't a big deal ascU had purchased some qiality Franklin paddles and balls. I found the quality of this table for the price to be very good! MD Sports puts out a very good product and the table looks like it will last based on my prior experience. I purchased this table so I can teach my grandkids the sport and also using it as an additional base for my DMXSlots race track. Afterall grandpa's have to have good toys to keep us busy !

This was a sub $200 table. Setup took a little over 2 hours and we followed the instructions precisely. Very good instructions. Everything fit well, for the price a great value and quality. Replaced a $600 table and it is close in quality and had a better set up. You do need 2 people to complete the instructions/construction.

This is a good ping pong table for the money. It took about 2 hours to put together, and was not as daunting as I thought it would be. My kids really enjoy playing, I have teenagers. I think it will hold up - doesnt seem cheapy. We looked for a long time and went back and forth on whether to buy expensive or go economical and we went economical in the end and we are happy with our purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this table. I had reservations about the sturdiness but this rivals an espn table that a friend has. It folds up nicely and does everything you would expect. With the 4 piece table there is a slight lip if you don’t line the pieces up just right but really doesn’t come in to play very often. Assembly was pretty smooth, mostly used the booklet but the app helped better explain on parts that were confusing. Took almost 2 hours but doing it a second time would take half of that. I highly recommend this as a table that will be used properly. If you have 12 year old boys jumping on it and going crazy, probably won’t last. Very happy with this purchase!

For the money and playing at home the table is perfect. The rollers are weak and the table being quite wobbly in the transport mode doesn't help. So I made some improvements using 1-1/4" lined tube clamps and 3/8" threaded bar fitted diagonally to the roller feet. The effect is incredible - the table become really stable and feels quite solid when it is pushed around. I would recommend the supplier do something similar to improve the table. See pictures attached.

For the price of the table compared to other retailers, this was a steal. The quality is excellent and the building instructions was very good. It has both paper directions or you can use the app for a step by step video with 3D renderings. The only negative side was the video had different numbers for parts than what was actually shipped so I had to use both paper

after spending hours assembling it, and after playing for less than one week, the table start to bend because we fold it after we finish playing, the weight of the compress wood leaning forward once it's folded make it crooked when we open it to play

Center stripes are already peeling and cracking. Just put together and used once. While putting it together I took excellent care and had cushioning between table and floor. Not worth the trouble of putting together, don’t want to take apart to send back. Very heavy and LOTS of parts.

I received damaged parts and cannot make the table stand. To avoid unassembling what I have done, I would like a replacement for the damaged parts. I called MD Sports several times, but it made me wait forever. Then I registered an account and submit a ticket on their website (very time-consuming to fill in all the details and upload images as requested) - on the 2nd day, I found the ticket was closed without any follow-up or actions...

Although the price point is good, the welds broke on the table moving it from one room to another within months. Luckily no one got hurt, it's very heavy and bulky, but the legs are very flimsy and the table is difficult to make level. I am trying to contact Walmart customer service to return. Won't buy another one.
