Great price and just what she needed for school
I know it's not blue, and maybe a little bit of overkill, but imagine how many clues could be stored in this notebook. I don't think the oversized pencil could be kept ion the spiral, but it's time Steve learned to carry a pen in his shirt pocket. I mean he's older than Netflix, right?
This notebook is going to be great for my daughter this year. It seems sturdy, has all the right features and comes in a variety of colors. I was impressed with the quality for the price! A lot of notebooks are expensive but this brand is affordable so we could get all the colors on the supply list. Definitely recommend this brand!
The Mead 3-Subject Spiral Notebook is exactly as described in the product listing, with these key features: - wide ruled - two dividers, each with double pockets (*there are these 4 pockets total, no pockets on either end) - back cover is sturdy cardboard-like reinforced, front cover is poly - design and branding are minimal and great for those preferring visual simplicity (or who like to decorate their own materials) - the notebook size is as listed, closer to 8”x10” and not full standard A4 paper size. The result is limited margins on the pages the way the lines are printed. This is fine for our purposes in elementary school, however for older students doing more advanced note taking they may prefer more margin space. - Spiral binding seems sturdy - pocket dividers are card-stock thickness paper and lack tabs or reinforcement. While this notebook has not been put through the trials of a school year yet, I can say that I am 5-star happy with my purchase considering the price point and quality. Teacher specifically requested 3-subject with pockets and at <$4 this was less than half the price of the next option, which I checked in store and did have larger margins due to the larger page size, but again that wasn't significant for us in elementary. Dividers can easily be tabbed or taped as the year goes on if needed, I did not get the impression that the next most expensive notebook had a significant quality difference in this area, so not worth the upgrade to us. And the simple design and availability of black color was a huge win with my son.
Was happy to find this three subject notebook available for purchase online because it was not available in my local store. Just what my son needed for his math class and the price was really good would recommend.
Walmart, thank you for offering 3 subject notebooks with poly covers at a great price. Similar ones are going for $7-$8 and that really adds up for multiple kids/subjects. I love that Mead makes these in both wide and college ruled. I will definitely re-buy these next year as long as they hold up well.
I think these might be a Walmart exclusive. My middle schooler was so happy to find these Mead notebooks and likes that you can label the side edge. We love the pastel colors and would love to see these notebooks sold in primary colors as well.
I ordered several hundred of these notebooks. The delivery was terrible. They were at different entrances, the packages were crushed or ripped. If I could I would take back some of the tips I had to give.
These are not 8 1/2 by 11, they are 8 by 10 1/2. doesn't seem like that big a difference but the school specifically requested letter size so little frustrating that the title misrepresents the product
So basically I was supposed to receive my order at 10 didnt come until 1. The lady that was delivering my order was rushing and didn't even looked for my apartment and left the package somewhere and I looked around to see if I can find it and I wasn't able to find it to.. no pink notebook for back to school for me
