they were great quality. someone did undo the glue and steak my sister's bracelet, then stick it back again. so I would suggest tapping the back.

The %2310 Mead Press-it-Seal Security Envelopes are a good product, well made of good material. All seams were properly sealed, the security printing inside the envelop was adequate to do its job, and the size was proper. I have no reservations in endorsing this product.

Contrary to what one reviewer wrote, I had NO difficulty whatsoever writing on these envelopes. I used a cheap Zebra brand retractable regular (disposable) ballpoint (no gel ink, no felt tip, no other fancy stuff) and it wrote easily and clearly without skipping. With regard to writing on the outside of the envelope: 5 stars. The security feature is only marginally successful. Perhaps it is sufficient for a typical person's needs, but when I inserted a printed page (not folded) and held the envelope up to a bright light I could read the print quite easily. Note that a folded letter, because the folded pages block more light, might be much more difficult to read. If all there was inside was a check, I would expect that it would be very easy to read it! With regard to security: 1 star. I took off two overall stars for the poor security performance. The tape covering the glue on the flap is easily removed and the seal seems fairly secure. Even though it is possible to peel back the flap after it has been sealed to the envelope, it requires enough force that I wouldn't expect the envelope to accidentally open during shipment/mailing. With regard to ease of sealing the envelope: 5 stars. With regard to seal quality: 4 stars. (I would give 5 stars if it were impossible to re-open the envelope after sealing.) Value: of course the value is quite good. I give 4 stars. Conclusion: I would recommend these to anyone for whom security (concealing the envelope contents) is not a very important issue. If security is an important issue, this is not a good choice.

Used to be a standard of quality years ago but alas like so many other paper goods (companies)these days the quality of the paper has deteriorated. These business size envelopes felt like poor quality Newspaper yuck and no longer the glossy white bright smooth envelopes of days of yore. Also thin as can be and who would want to send anything important inside these wimpy excuse for an envelope. Sent back for a refund just so this company knows I am not one to put up with such nonsense. On the hunt for a better product. Such a pity companies think they can get away with this....

These days most of my payments are done online, so a box of these lasts well over a year for me. So I just bought a new box. You can't write on these! They're not ball point pen friendly anymore. Out of over a dozen different pens, none of them would write on these envelopes, or would skip terribly. I went through 12 of these envelopes in a row trying to write on one that would be readable to send out. Some of them would let it write just a little before it would start skipping more than writing. The left top edge where the return address would be written would not allow a pen to write at all - - not even skip. It was trying to write on glass or wax paper. I don't know if they changed their paper, or my batch was contaminated with something that prevents the ball on a ball point pen from rolling. I tried several different brands of pens (New Bic, & Papermate) with no success. My pens all wrote fine on the old batch of these envelopes that I just used up. I had to use a felt tip pen to write on the envelope. These are useless if you can't write on them with common & popular brand pens. An envelope that can't be written on is useless to me.

I wanted smaller envelopes, not letter size. Walmart delivered the wrong envelopes. Imkept them because I cannuse them but not to pay bills.
