Mead Trapper Keeper Binder, Palm Trees

Opening this trapper keeper brought back so many memories. I love the quality. It will be used WELL.

Brings back memories of my high school days! the graphics are even better than they were back in the 80s. My church buddies are gonna give me heck cuz I'd rather keep my notes on paper, but unlike technology, paper doesn't have to download.

really great and it reminded me exactly of 1989 again! The only thing I would do better is the Velcro on the flap is not as sturdy as even my original that I still have for my school. They need to work on that. It's a little flimsy.

A quality notebook that keeps all your belongings secured by a velcro strip flap and two folders enclosed.

Using it for work. Easier to transport everything I need than with a regular binder. Love the nostalgia! Happy customer.

When this arrived, I was brought back in time! It's just as I remember using in school, a fun and functional item. The only thing I notice is that the cardboard used in its construction does feel a bit more flimsy that some of my old binders. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars. Otherwise, I enjoy using it.

I was at first so excited when I saw that Mead wa once again making Trapper keepers. I fell in love with the tropical design because I love all things Caribbean. But now I have buyers remorse. This design isn't like my old trapper keeper, which, when after receiving my new one, I dragged out from a box of old papers, because it just didn't feel right to me. I don't find this new design user friendly at all, & every time I open it, I like it less & less, & I'm mad at myself for buying it. The old design has the flap on the left, and it is secured on the inside, keeping the folders out of the way, I could just pop it open & start writing on my filler paper. The new flap is gigantic, & in the way. There is no place to write a class schedule, & no pencil holder on the clipboard, which doesn't come with a paper pad like my original one did. I would gladly give up the metal clipboard & 3 rings if I could have the pencil holder back. My plastic ones never broke, & my Keeper was used so much that the bottom is frayed. I also don't see the point of the plastic side pocket, when the folders are the same style. I would want a horizontal pocket, because it's easier to flip through loose papers with that style pocket. But all the choices here are bad. Put the folders in front & have to flip past them to get to my paper? Or put them in the back & have to flip past my filler paper to get to the folders? No thanks, Mead. Try again.
