Measuring Cup, Glass, 2-Cup Measuring Cup with Red Graphics, Pyrex

Pyrex is still the best heat resistant glassware on the market. I had my old measuring cup for decades and it withstood microwaving and boiling with ease. The only reason I has to purchase a new one is because my new puppy jumped up on the table and knocked my Pyrex to the floor. I was so upset, but she's a puppy and I should have watched her more closely. This new measuring cup looks exactly like the previous one I owned. So, the quality is bsolutely the same.

I didn't not think a measuring cup could bring me such joy. I had a 50 year old Pyrex 2 cup and I could hardly read the markings any onger. This cup feels good in my hand and has generous space ABOVE the 2 cup mark so it's easy to pour out a full measure.

So far so good, I bought this one because the printed marks on the one I have had faded in the dishwasher. This one is holding up fine! I also like the flat profile on the rim better than the fluted ones.

Needed a 2 cup measuring cup tht could stand up to the microwave. Have a Pyrex 4 cup and knew that's what I wanted for my 2 cup. WalMart had it at the best price around along with free shipping. What more could I ask? It arrived quickly and I am happy!

Love the durability and sturdiness. This is a standby for the same unit only 30 years older. I wanted to make sure I would have a replacement of the same quality and the new one has already proven itself from use in microwave to dishwasher. I believe it to be a great buy. Would definitely recommend this unit.

This is one of the things in the kitchen that you will definitely be needing and using most of the time.

I like everything about the measuring cup except I'm having trouble getting used to the markings. With my old Pyrex measuring cup (on which the red markings have now faded to oblivion) I could tell at a glance which line was for which measure. With this one, because the different measurement markers are offset from one another, I have to look at it more carefully. I'm sure that I will get used to it in time.

Liked: * Reasonable price * Pours without dripping from the spout Disliked: * The handle has an untrimmed slab of glass at the bottom of the handle, on the right hand side as you hold the handle. The untrimmed portion is NOT sharp and is not a danger, but it does press into the fingers uncomfortably. And if something hard hits the slab (as when washing the dishes), it would break off. The photo was taken from near the opposite side from the handle; the cup was to the right of the handle. The little bit of light on the far left hand side of the handle, at the bottom. is the untrimmed glass. I'm going to sand it down and it will be fine. The frosted look caused by scratch marks from the sandpaper will not match the clear glass look of the rest of the handle. Perhaps the sanding will slightly improve the security of gripping the handle. By the way, the FTC has found that some Pyrex measuring cups labeled "Made in USA" (mine has that label) were actually made in China.
