Great mixer attachment. This fits directly as many other attachments do. It was fairly easy to assemble and to use. We used today on pork tenderloin and it done a fine job. I look forward to use for easy tenderizing for chicken and steak ahead. Worked very well, done good job and was very fast. The working components are metal with a plastic cover.

I always wanted a meat tenderizer but didnt know they made ones for a stand mixer. I thought they only made manuals ones. Anyway, this was easy to use and install. It comes with replacement gears, wrench and a brush. It doesn't look like you could insert thick cuts of meat so be mindful of this. The box says it will not work for chicken, fish or duck meals.

This item was great! It works well with my Kitchenaid mixer!

Screws were loose. Gears rolled off and got the cover in a bind. Meat has to be sliced 1/2" or less, and when you get it thin enough it won't tenderize meat.
