The strips work fine. I have kidney stones, and want to keep up my calcium since my body presumably makes calcium-oxalate stones, and one wants to keep up the calcium input.

It'll do. Good bang for your buck. accurate within plus or minus 0.5 on the scale. only difficulty was finding documentation on how to troubleshoot odd results.

Not clear in the instructions how to hold the strip to compare it to the bottle. This is important, since the color patterns don't necesssarily match any of the examples. The instructions the company emailed me were not any clearer. According to a Youtube, you hold it handle down, testing squares up, as it pictured near the instructions that are on the paper insert.

The 4 colors on the test strips are a little bit off from the colors on the comparison chart, but they are close.

I tested numerous contents %26 compared them all %26 the strips all turned the same color. This includes saliva from everyone in my house, tap water, sprite, coffee, Powerade, dirt, off, cherries, baking soda, peroxide, dawn %26 a few other things. All of the strips had the same results. There's no way they're accurate. Everything showed neutral (6-7).
