Was shipped fast and packed really well, easy to install and easy to use. We have purchased this for our swimming pool area in our RV park, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone else needing this type of phone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TAFEA phone from MedPAT is clearly designed for real emergencies. It's made for situations where it may be unsafe to speak or when you need to run and hide. One of its key features is that if you drop the handset and leave it hanging, it activates a patented transmission enhancer so emergency services can still hear what's happening around you. That's a smart and potentially life-saving function. I really like how the phone is bright red—it immediately signals that it's for emergencies. It feels solid and well-built, with an extra strong ricochet-style cord, super loud volume control, and the ability to mount it to a wall or desk. Setup is straightforward. The phone comes with clear instructions, and one standout feature is the pre-recorded message option. You can record a message in advance, and it will automatically repeat four times during an emergency. If you're too frightened or physically unable to speak, you can simply press the SEND key and the message will play immediately. You can also adjust and re-record it as needed. Another safety detail: if you place the handset back into the base, the phone automatically disconnects—so you're not left on the line unintentionally. The only issue I ran into is that the phone needs to be connected to a traditional telephone line—not a VoIP or internet-based system. The jacks in my home aren't currently active, so I haven't been able to fully test it. That's something to keep in mind if you're planning to use it at home. Overall, the TAFEA seems like a solid emergency-use device. Once I get a working landline connection, I'll be testing it more thoroughly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks for gifting this device. There is nothing more important than having access to emergency services. I know this is not having access but it is a step towards getting help when the issues get present them. Also, very important you you have elderly people and kids around. They can easily get help when they need them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try this new MedPat Solutions FIRST by TAFEA - Emergency Auto Dialer! I like the features, portability and battery life. I like the sounds quality and how useful this phone is during emergency times!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's easy to set up and lets you program in multiple emergency contact numbers, which is great for elderly family members or anyone living alone. Once the alarm is triggered, the device starts calling your preset numbers one by one until someone answers — no subscription or monthly fees required, which is a huge plus.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main reason for buying this emergency phone is safety. I installed it in the room of my elderly at home. In case of an emergency, they can dial 911 immediately, which makes the family feel more at ease. The design of the phone is very simple, without extra buttons, so the elderly don't have to worry about misoperation. Pick up the receiver and dial automatically, which is very convenient and direct to use. The overall quality and appearance are also very good. The shell and wall mounting are also easy to install, and it can be done in a short time. It took a surprising amount of time to study the first setting. But once you understand it, it is very easy to use. If the instruction manual is more detailed, it will be more perfect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item for my honest review . This is a very cool phone that works to provide emergency telephone services when you are in a true emergency. This phone comes with an easy set up guide with a list of precautions to take. Like making sure you secure your phone to a wall or on a study table. If the device would get knocked over, it could break or send a potential emergency response out to your home. This device is giving me piece of mind of my cell phone would not work in a time of an emergency. It also allows for you to have a pre-recorded message that way you do not have to speak. It also has a feature where the emergency services will not speak back to you if you were fearful that and intruder can hear. Overall, I have not had to use the device, but I'm glad to have it. (please note, I am showing the handset with the wire removed. You must be very careful not to send fake emergency calls.)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Tafea a division of Med - Pat Emergency phone from Influencer for free to try and also to give my opinion of the product. Designed to be easy to use in any emergency situations, to call for help. The red emergency phone is said to be easy to used in high stress situations. There's a green sticker on the inside of the box, which tells you to use the booklet on the inside for a step by step instructions. You will have to program the phone by following the instructions they provide. It's kind of tricky to set up so pay attention to the instructions. It works by connecting you to an emergency services, such as 911. Overall, an emergency phone like this one can be a great tool for anyone who needs a quick and easy way to get help in emergency situations.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is a great idea for older folks but it's hard to set up. I wanted this for my parents but I found setting it up hard even for a gen z person. I thought this would be even more difficult for an older person too. I liked how it has the features where it calls a set person and emergency calls. The sound wasn't too bad.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion but the opinion expressed is all my own. I was very excited to try this out the concept is amazing. But the execution is not so impressive. You still need a phone jack which is something that was not installed when we built our home so I couldn't fully use it. And it is not going to work where I needed it. Overall If you have a phone jack, i would definitely try it.
