Med-Vet Pharmaceuticals Magnesium 5000 Pellets 20lb

: I have a fairly spooky mare, so these are a staple in the barn to have. While she already gets a more comprehensive calming supplement that includes some magnesium, I like to give these to provide additional magnesium. While these can be given daily, I give these to my mare during harder workloads, stressful events, new environments, etc. I really like that these are simple, affordable, and easy to feed pellets. My mare will even eat these if given separately. Strongly suggest to any horse needing that additional Magnesium.

I have a gelding that can be a little reactive on windy days or when riding in the indoor. He is a picky eater so other magnesium products have been difficult to feed so I switched to the Magnesium 5000 and he eats every pellet! He is more focused during training and along with proper work and a foraged base diet, his topline has never looked better. I recommended magnesium to all horses in training. They get support for recovery from the harder rides and overall seem more restful in their stalls.

I have used this supplement (mostly)on and (occasionally) off for a few years now with my OTTB gelding and I do notice a difference in him when I stop adding it to his feed.

It actually made my horse crazier. Now I'm afraid to try the other calming supplement because it has magnesium too.
