[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been enjoying my new washer and dryer which replaced some very old ones. They work great and clean and dry the clothes as expected. I haven't used the large capacity tub, but I'm glad to have it for blankets and more bulky items.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple weeks ago after my 15 year old Maytags stopped working. This dryer dried my clothes much faster than the old one. I know I waited too long to replace it. But when the washer stopped, I purchased a new set.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my new Maytag dryer to replace an 18 year old dryer. The features and options are so much better, and the dryer does a much better job of drying clothes. Overall, I am very pleased with my new Maytag dryer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace our Whirlpool dryer, which was having all sorts of repeating heating element and fuse issues after five years. It seems to be of similar construction, but I'm hoping this one lasts longer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer drys well but I'm worried something isn't right. It is very noisy. It has gotten worse this past week or so. I was going to call and have someone come and check it but with the Holiday coming I was going to wait until Monday. Please advise. Thank you m
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer replaced a Maytag 23 year old dryer. This new one works fine, but the old dryer had a better lint filter at the door opening, with a finer fabric mesh instead of the screen wire filter on the top of the new one. The fabric filter lasted 21 years before replacing. The screen wire is vulnerable to denting, and allows more lint to get into the dryer vent tube. Maytag/Whirlpool, you might want to revisit the filter design.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a standard dryer with an option to keep tumbling to avoid wrinkles, which I love as I can't always immediately remove clothes. I would have given it 5 stars, except the door seems thin and cheap making it annoying to close and open when taking clothes out and putting them in.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the light inside!!! Clothes are easy to access with the wide door. I like the flat top to use for air drying. Not a big fan of the two switch power/sensing and on buttons. Hope they are durable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since my dryer was delivered at the beginning of August , I have been using it pretty consistently. This new model is definitely an upgrade from my now departed Whirlpool… which had a dial to set temp and an “on” button. I have a few opinions. 1) I would have loved a one or two page “ quick reference “ guide enclosed with my appliance. Many times, I didn't have the time to go hunting for operating information online. That being said, I find that my clothes do now dry as thoroughly as I wish it would… even though though the wrinkle guard is running. I will chalk it up to being part of a learning curve and continue to experiment with different settings. The other issue I have is that I have to LITERALLY slam the door on the dryer for it to close. It has been slammed so many times now, the dryer have moved a couple of inches. This is my first Maytag appliance. I chose a Maytag because it has a good reputation and was recommended by friends.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the dryer and features but I have one main complaint and a serious one to me. The lint catcher does not do a good job. Most of the lint blows out on my back porch. I washed flannel sheets the other day and normally there is a LOT of lint on the catcher and there was hardly any but there was a good bit on porch where the vent blow out. I am concerned with where it is going to, is the lint catcher defective? I don't want a fire
