The off-center and distinct finger openings create a natural cutting motion. The angle of the blades assists in the scissors separating the bandage from the wound. The blades are sharpe and improved by the serration. The scissors are strong and don't flex.

Medca 7.5 trauma she stainless steel scissors
these are the best household scissors that I have. And I have at least 20 pairs of scissors. Also these are the best scissors for a nurse to cut off bandages or to cut tape or to cut anything. Great brand.

I need a great pair of sizzors to cut foam to fit for a vac pump on a wound. These are big enough and hold a sharp edge for the job.

Shears for safety
Arrived quickly. I ordered this for my elderly mother but she is unable to use because they do not open and close easily. Appear to be well made - just disappointed in their performance. Will try lubricant and hope it helps. I live in a different state so returning isn't convenient.
